Did spider-man show any type of reflex speed or movement speed that could be compared to surfers? Is there some ability spidey has that6 enables him to counteract the speedblitz? Also, What of transmutation?

How the heck did he do that?

Considering how powerful it's made various characters, you'd think giving Gladiator the CU enhancement would make him redonkulous.

I misremembered it a bit. It happened during that Captain Universe event last year(or the year before) that no one read. Gladiator had the Uni-Power for a bit but was stripped of it and beaten by the villain of the story. Surfer fought the Uni-Power enhanced villain and won.

If it was in-comic Spiderman would own Norrin. Heck regular Spidey owned Surfer pretty hard (to no lasting effect, unfortunately) due to heavy PIS/SMvsFL/CIS combo.

It was basically just a energy draining feat. He stripped the power absorbing monster of the energies he stole from Glads and the unipower.

The creature had gladiator's power and the uni-power and Surfer stopped it by putting so much of his own power into the creature he burned out.

I can't say Cosmic Spiderman did anything that put him above Surfer level.

Surfer fight? None of these were really fights at all. In the first (which is the one I guess you meant), Spidey attacked Surfer for pretty much no reason. He webbed Norrin, who refused to fight. Surfer disintegrated the webbing and tried to leave, but Spidey eventually swung over and put the Surfer in an aerial figure-four. Surfer lost his cool and literally wrapped a car around Peter with the Power Cosmic. End of "fight".

As to the Uni-Power question. Surfer did not defeat Uni-Power Gladiator, but did defeat Krosakis (a sort of energy vampire), who had absorbed both Gladiator's power and the Uni-Power. Since Norrin was able to defeat a supervillain using both Gladiator's power + the Uni-power, I don't think he'd have a problem defeating Spider-Man with "just" the Uni-Power.

all Uni-powered beings have energy generation and manipulation abillities(similiar to power cosmic empowered beings)

had transmuting powers, he managed to alter mary janes clothes in a kinky spider-woman suit. he also managed to give his webbing any form he wished, plus turning things into adamantium.



however, feat-wise he ofcourse can't hold a candle to SS. but i do believe that power-wise they are closer together.
