Well, I look all over this forum and didn't find a thread about this amazing manga. So I thought we might as well discuss it. I currently finished reading book #10, and WOW, what an amazing read...to bad Wolfwood died, it was so sad, it hit me like a brick.

I'm around volume 10 as well and I think Nick went out a lot better than his anime counterpart. However, he didn't die for nothing since Livio turns out to be quite a kick ass good guy.

I forgot what happened to the anime counterpart?

In the anime he was killed by the guy that was chapel the evergreen before he was. After the fatal shot he stumbled into a church and was acting like he was at peace with himself and ready to die and then a minute later he pretty much started whining saying he didn't want to die and there were so many more things he wanted to do with his life and then that was the end of him.

OO ya, now I remember, but yes, the anime death was by far better written than anime.

Going from what I've seen.. er.. heard online, Trigun goes on for like at least 14 volumes, right?

I've been enjoying the book and buying each issue from my shop. That volume ten finale was amazing. I've been enjoying this series as it nears conclusion, but sometimes it seems a bit slow. Plus some of the panel layouts and action scenes seem a bit confusing. Then again, I think that's just Nightow being experiemental in his art and it's also pretty neat at the same time.

I'm not quite sure where the series ends, since I believe it's still going on in Japan (could be wrong.) Yeah, I do have to agree that some of the action scenes have made me go "WTF is going on?" and takes a few relooks to figure out everything.

ya, Same here, but since Trigun Maximum anime is coming out really soon here, we will see them better, plus I think it's getting a tvMA rating, for the blood.

Wait... where did you pull that magical tidbit about a Trigun Maximum anime coming soon to TV in the US from? I've heard rumors... and nothing more. It was in some anime magazine... and nothing's been said since. Plus, I heard it would be a movie of direct to DVD deal (like Hellsing).

The last news about it was back in 2005.

I'm not holding my breath as there hasn't been a peep since.

Besides Trigun X (Which I believe is the project name for the Hellsing OVAish Treatment Trigun's getting is called,) I believe I've heard rumours of a game being made for it, which I'm not getting my hopes up for considering that it's likely it'll probably end up like the Priest game.

I'm superficial in terms of artistic taste. Try as I might I just can't get into magna because of the black and white pictures but I just loved the Trigun Anime to death. I think the last episode could have been better and we should have saw a lot more of knives but the show was still awesome.

It's from the manga. Asuka has a lot of quotes dealing with balls, like the infamous "You broke my balls!" one when he fought Akira.
