Populus should of made it in ahead of SimCity. There is no reason to put Warcraft III in. Compared to other RTS of the time it was......simple.

While I question some of the entries on the list, I applaud the decision to create the list in the first place.

It's not merely WC3, but the entire Warcraft series which began in 1994.

I think there are games that a bit more important then some of the other games...Yes Super Mario Bros 3 is quite possibly one of the greatest games ever, but I think Super Mario bros is more important. What about the Legend of Zelda? It opened up the possibility of wide open space and being non linear, and led the way to games like Oblivion today.

Not to mention, it was the first game to offer battery backed up saving. Yeah, Zelda needed to be in there. Probably in place of Sensible World of Soccer...

Exactly, I agree with you on this...
My Question is why is Sensible World of Soccer in there in the first place?
Some of the titles are questionable...SMB should of been on there, not SMB3. SMB3 is a CLASSIC, but SMB is more influential and important then SMB3.

Warcraft III shouldn't of made it in period. By the time WC3 came out RTS have progressed beyond it. Should of put in Shogun: Total War or Myth.

That, and I thought WCIII was too pixie dust compared to the first two. The game felt like a crappy RPG, not a bloody badass wargame.
