Only seven hours till POST TIME, horsefans!

No, no, relax, we're not running an OTB, folks. However, with the price of kryptonium to power our time machine seeming to go up day after day, Dan and I will need some big money soon or else our listeners will just have to pretend that we're actually using a time machine on future shows.

So, the only logical thing we came up with is to ask the world's richest duck to be our "angel," our financial backer, see? Yes, yes, we realize he will be a hard egg to crack, if we ever get to talk to him directly.

Fortunately, our special guest on TIME TRAVEL this week will be the very friendly Alan Young (http://www.timetravelispossible.com/files/Alan_Young.mp3) -- the voice of $crooge McDuck, among so many other parts and accomplishments in his over sixty years in show business!

And because Alan is no stranger to the ways of time travel himself, by Filby, he might have some suggestions on alternatives to kryptonium. Will we be asking him about George Pal's THE TIME MACHINE? You betcha. (Dan tells me Alan chuckled when he first heard the name of our show.)

That's today, Friday, March 16, 2007, from 4 pm Eastern to 5 pm Eastern (and 1 pm Pacific to 2 pm Pacific).

If you're near a computer, you can pick up the transmission at

Soon afterwards, maybe even by this weekend, the show will be available for further listening in our Archives at

And if Unca $crooge only offers us advice, as most have believed the duck will stop there, I suppose we can always ask Wilbur Post to ask Mister Ed (http://www.oddballcomics.com/article.php?story=archive2002-02-05) to pick us some winners out at Santa Anita. (But, whatever you do, please don't tell Carol that Ed can talk. It keeps Wilbur and Carol's marriage stable that way.)

Thank you.
