Okay, let me first say that I love this book to death. The GLC is my favorite concept in the DCU and I'm overjoyed that they've given them their own book and given them over to Dave Gibbons!

I really like the structure that they've given the Corps, a purpose for the Honor Guard, which suits Guy Gardner perfectly as the GLC troubleshooter.

Guy's had his shore leave revoked. Again. Sallaak is awesome as the Corps' humorless administrator/bueraucrat. He's ordered to assist the two Lanterns on a mission.

The two Lanterns, who got to see Guy get shown up a few issues back by Sallaak basically abandon Guy after one of them provokes the other into be subordinate to Guy.

On Korugar, Soranik Natu is basically playing underground physician/superhero to the poor and underpriviledged, since being a Lantern is pretty much outlawed and looked upon as cursed. Kilowog and Natu's new partner (a stuck up princess) barge in, after Natu is attacked by law enforcement and probably leave things worse than better.

What did you all think of the issue?

I want to know what the heck is going on with Mogo, it looks like Green Man, Kilowog and whomever else in on him might be in trouble

Do you think Mogo could be "infected?" That's what I got out of that issue.

A yellow virus. As we saw in the preview art, one of the Sinestro Corps members will be a sentient virus. Could this be that virus?

It makes sense. Green Man is surrounded by floating yellow "lights." Then you see the the floating yellow lights again as Gardner enters Mogo's atmosphere. I figure it's all tied to Sinestro somehow.

There was a bit of a disconnect in that the events of # 7-9 were ignored. Guy is still fuming about his shore leave when he might be grieving at least a little over the loss of the other Lantern (which is how he supposedly remembers it). Or maybe his feelings would not be so strong over it considering how much he forgot.

Did it look to anyone else like Kilowog just disappeared when approaching those yellow blobs around Mogo? Oh no!

I liked the issue (though not quite as much as the three before it). Always good to have Natu back in the story though. And I love it when Salaak and Kilowog appear. Shouldn't this be selling as much as GL? It has more Green Lanterns in it! :)

That's what I thought. He forgot nearly everything that happened on that mission and likely his feelings for the other Lantern aside from an initial attraction to her.

This book is doing pretty well and is usually in the top 50 in sales from what I've seen. And I love having Kilowog around. Here's hoping we get a spotlight on the big poozer soon.

I've also liking the dynamic between Natu and her new partner.

Neat little bit: Notice how the two Lanterns Guy went to assist were fixing the hive. When using their rings to create hands, the dragon-like GL with lobster claw hands created by claw shaped hands instead of human-like hands.

Didn't he get what amounted to a mind-wipe at the end of #9?

Mostly. But he is supposed to remember losing his partner on the ice planet and roaming space feeling guilty for a couple of days.

I love Natu. She's the best Lantern in the Universe. And check her new partner. A princess? I hope that wasn't the end of the catfighting.

That's what I meant. All he remembers is failing to find the Durlan and the GL lady dying in an accident.

Oh, I doubt it will be.
