And you lead with A Pup Named Scooby Doo? Are you sure this isn't so much when cartoons were good, as cartoons that were on when I was growing up? I couldn't even get past the rest. Seriously man, A Pup Named Scooby Doo is your example of animated greatness?

The lyrical melody from The Gummi Bears theme song meshes so well with Metallica's "Motorbreath."

I liked Freddy as the idiot, but that was about all I liked. If you haven't seen the new Shaggy and Scooby Doo Get a Clue series, I highly recommend it. I've enjoyed every episode more than any other Scooby Doo series since the original.
There's an overlapping storyling, cohesive storytelling; Shaggy is now a millionaire because his Uncle, who's an inventor, disappeared. There's a foreign evil scientist trying to gather some data from the mansion, he's always sending two funnyy bungling agents after them.
I really like this show.

Is that on Cartoon Network? With the exception of some shows from Adult Swim, I haven't really tuned in to that channel. Mainly because alot of their newer shows are really bad.

WB.
It's a different style of animation in comparison to other Scooby series. http://www.newsarama.com/AniShorts/Scoob_Shag_layerREVat72dpi_t.jpg
Shaggy's uncle invented super scooby snacks. If Scooby eats one, he gains a different power for a limited time. The villains are hilarious.

Watching the video is very cool, and its interesting to note you can watch many many episodes of classic cartoons on Youtube. I do agree though, cartoons have lost spark...everything seems to be borrowed from another country or if its original it seems to be completely idiotic....There are a few exceptions...the 02 He-Man was fantastic, and the 03 Turtles was very good till they did the fastforward junk. And Avatar which is original is very good and thought it has a bit of an anime feel, its good to know its original none the less....but aside from that cartoons seem to have lost its spark.

Nice! Almost near-perfect, save for two minor details:
1. Pokemon and Sailor Moon?
2. No Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? No Real Ghostbusters? No Earthworm Jim? No Road Rovers? No David the Gnome? No Samurai Pizza Cats?

Ulysses 31 (http://youtube.com/watch?v=OZ4c1X5ene8) - nothing better
Supposedly Jeunet was going to do a life action of this with Eric Cantona. I'm of two minds on that score - but we see some of what he had planned with the blind cult in City of the Lost Children.
Aaah I remember James Bond Jr..heh
