hmmmm...

Maybe Steve Rogers knew he couldnt be Captain America in this day and age, and maybe...he just couldn't be "Steve Rogers" anymore either.

Hey, it could happen, somebody told me the Green Goblin was never coming back, and to my surprize he came back exactly how I said he would.

;)

Didn't you already post this once before?

The Steve that was shot and killed is the real deal. As has already been stated.

Captain America as we know him is dead.

You're a fool if you think the man formerly known as "Steve Rogers" is dead, this is marvel we are talking about, they bring back nobodys on a whim, with ridiculous resurrections. I never got to read the responses from the other thread before some idiot removed it.

Just because you believe it, or Marvel says it so, doesn't make it so, mark my words. I have been reading comics since before you were an itch in your daddy's pants, if Stuperman aint dead, you bet your arse the man born as Steve Rogers isn't.

You're currently coping with the first stage of dealing with death: Denial.

Steve Rogers is dead. Whatever method they use to eventually bring him back, he's currently dead. His body has been a few times already, most recently in Civil War: The Confession. And the thread was likely deleted because it's redundant. There's tons of threads about this. Also nice to call the mods idiots.

By the way, you should consider the fact that Jeph Loeb is writing a mini focusing on the reaction to Steve Roger's death. Given that he just lost a son recently, he's not going to write a story about death that doesn't count. And we've been assured that he's dead, both by Marvel and by Ed Brubaker.

Will he eventually return? Yeah, because he's an A-List character. Though I take issue with you saying they bring "Nobodys" back. Probably in 2 years for Captain America #50. For the time being his book will focus more on Cap's supporting characters. Avenging his murder at the hands of the Red Skull and pals.

One last thing. Nice condescending attitude. I highly doubt your much older than me. If at all.

You said he would come back over 20 years later because of a healing factor he didn't know he had at the time?

I think someone is making up stories.

No, bonehead, I thought the formula Norman Osborne took to become the goblin, could have done all kinds of undocumented things to him, it gave him super strength, why couldn't it have some added properties that let his cells regenerate while he lay dormant, in suspended animation. Must not have been too far fetched huh?

After hearing the about the story arc "Sins past", as much as I loved the Goblin, I wish he would have stayed dead.

Every half-wit theory does NOT need its own thread. Use one of the existing ones. Like the "How will Steve Rogers return? (http://forums.comicbookresources.com/showthread.php?t=166920)" thread.
