That's easy!
You and Nicola on Wonder Woman.
On a completely different note, I'd LOVE to see you do a Ragman book.
Not sure why, I just think that you would do it justice. NOt sure on an artist though. It would NEED to be someone that could do moody and expressions well.

Iron Man comes to mind, as far as an existing book. I feel like the Extremis changes need to be addressed and defined.
A light-hearted team book, ala early Champions
Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow- she's been around a while, but she's got a great backstory, being the "consort" to many male heroes.

WONDER WOMAN with Adam Hughes.
I dunno... are you into BUFFY, Gail? If so, I expect you'd probably write a good BUFFY... though with Whedon, Vaughan and others, that one sounds to probably be in good hands.
MARVEL FAMILY. I'd rather have Jeff Smith on the Marvels in perpetuity, but I'm guessing that won't happen. I'm thinking you'd do pretty well by Cap and the rest.

Interesting choice. I love the Ragman character...but for some reason I can't picture what Gail's version would be like.
hmm...prolly Wonder Woman w/ Woods or Hughes on pictures.
Dreaming...an original finite series drawn by Chris Bachalo.

I'd like to see you write an Addams Family comic with me drawing it. Just because I've always loved those characters, and it would need to be well-written. Of course, I'd not be hired. They'd let someone like Keith Giffen do it. And it would be a big hit.

Me either. But I couldn't believe she was gonna use "Catman" either.
Look how that turned out. ;)
I just think she'd bring a different set of stories to keep the character from being a one trick pony.
Now, for all I know, she might hate the character and would never want to touch it, but I think it might be cool.

I'd really like to see Gail do an indy comic that's not satire and not superheroey. I'd like to see her flex her writing muscles in something less mainstream (and really show off). I don't think we have enough female writers in the indy world. (I don't think we have enough female writers period.) I'm kind of tired of seeing superheroine boobies and super guys flexing like Arnold in his Conan days. I'm actually interested in what characters have to say.
I just picked up a copy of Dead @ 17 yesterday. I bet Josh Howard would be a fun choice for that dream title, should it happen. He seems to have a fun style. Or maybe Karl Moline. I really liked what he did with Fray.

Someday I'd love to see you write an X-Men book with Rogue, Kitty Pryde, and anybody else you'd like to include. (Cannonball is the third member of my Favorite X-Men Triumvirate, and would be an excellent inclusion, but Rogue is the character who I most want to see get some Gail love someday, and I'm trying not to be greedy.)
Art? Maybe Paul Smith, cos he's my all-time favorite penciller, and he draws the definitive Rogue AND Kitty in my mind. Alternatively, maybe Joe Bennett or Adriana Melo.
DCwise, as much as I love Ryan, I still want to see Gail write Ray Palmer someday.

I'd like to see Gail do something different. A new Gotham Central, I think. It would be a different vision than Brubaker and Rucka had but there's so much potential in those cops and Gail wrote Jim Gordon so well, not to mention the cops in "Rose & The Thorn," that I'd like to see her do it. I picture something more like "Hill Street Blues" than "Homicide"--which was what Rucka & Brubaker were trying to go with, I think.
It would also give a chance for her very dark sense of humor, so evident in Killer Princesses, to shine.
On art...you'd need someone with a grittier style. Cam Stewart might work well.

Let us do someting which is not typically wise if you have a small mind-brain, and assume that Marvel is about to do something sensible and decide to launch a perfect new Deathlok comicbook. This would return the character to the year 1985 (ALTERNATE 1985!) that the comic was set in and then have Deathlok as Luther Manning (aka, the only true Deathlok). This would be good for the true fans but the regulars people of earth do not understand things that are good and so need things that are still good but good in a way that they understand good. I cannot be more clear than this at all.
The only way that a Deathlok comic could possibly be better is to have ANOTHER DEATHLOK in it. How would this be done? Simpley to do it you would add a second Deathlok--Lady Deathlok! Yet, how could this be wwritten? You would have to find a lady person who knows guns to write Lady Deathlok, then have a man write the true Deathlok parts, and then allow them to battle in true Marvel fashionstyle, then allow them to fihght the true menace.
So the great comic I would love to read would be written by Ann Coulter writing Lady Deathlok. She would channel real cyborg rage in a real way! Then perhaps Rich Buckler or William Messsny Lobels could write the man parts. Lady Deathlok and Deathlok would both fight again--CYBORG CAPTAIN AMERICAN. Because that is what is coming next. Captain American is a very unreal concept (as opposed to future cyborgs which are quite possible). But if Captain American were an cyborg then he would work. In fact it could bfring his true colors to light as a liberal-commie ideal. Are you not following? Then read on for mind-thoughts of clarification.
If you do not understand why Captain American is a liberal commie--all you have to do is ask yourself two things which are First why is America's hero not using a gun and Two who else but a liberal would think that a guy with little birdy wings on his head is a good way to spend tax dollars? This has clinton or carter or some other president like rosnevelt written on it in big red (AKA commie!) letters.
Now some people do not like political books in their comics, but the best comics are a roadmap for real life. So to explain the symbolism it goes like this--
Cyborg Captain American - back from the dead, much like the liberal commie demo party
Deathlok - back from 1985 (aka the Reagan era)
Lady Deathlok - built from 2004 election worker and/or in the mode of Katherine Harris
So Cyborg Captain American comes back from the dead to ruin american aand then he and Deathlok and Lady Deathlok can fight for America's soul and heart blood. IN the end real America wins and Marvel says KACHING all the way to the bank. This would be the best comic that has ever been made by humans--at least until the next Deathlok TPB came out--ASSUMING THAT THE DEATHLOK THEY USE IS THE REAL ONE!
C'mon marvel and use your brains a little bit! Think of the tie in this would make to the upcoming Deathlok movie! Does anyone else smell a franchise in the deep fryer?
I do!
zoombaboom babies!

EDIT: *sigh* I did not read this post correct in enthusiastic excitement. I suppose the 'Gail Simone' could write the man and woman parts if the cabal had men and women in it at the same time. Perhaps a man from the Gail Simone cabal could write teh man parts and then Ann Coulter could write the women parts. Someone has to!

True confessions -- I don't care who publishers pick as artists on well written stories. I rarely see comic book art that I don't enjoy at some level, meaning I love most all of it. So many people bring such unique images to panels that I never really tire of seeing them. I not married to any certain artists, so I flat out don't care who does the art.
Titles:
1) Preacher
2) GA / BC -- disclaimer: Oliver's reputation needs to be retreived from the mud it has been drug through since Meltzer's dead beat dad story and Winick's cheating cheap shot. I am furious over what DC did to an honorable lefty from "way back." (and I'm a conseravative, go figure)
3) I'd like to see a "Bitches United" title -- with all the great female villians like Ivy, Selena, Harley, etc. Forgive my crude title, but you do tend to push the envelope.
4) OK, I know this last one sounds strange... bah, nevermind. I'll save it for a rainy day. :)

Maybe a series where Blue Devil was returned to his Hollywood-tech, weirdness-magnet, great-supporting-cast roots... not sure who the artist should be.
definitely: Wonder Woman, Gold Digger (getting a bit tired of Fred's craziness), and some random X-Men 'buddy' book, any 2 characters, like the Meltdown Wolvie and Havok book from years back.
artist: honestly, doesn't really matter as you've proven in your works that the writing comes first. but, WW (Turner, need someone better, but can't think of non-cheesy artist right now), GD (Fred, of course), X-Book (anyone from Lee to Mignola).

Sachs and Violens are interesting but I don't think Peter David bought his A game--he was having fun but in the 'how many shootouts and naked people can I have in one page' kind of fun. Which wasn't bad for what it was, though I could have used more handsome naked men, but I think the idea behind it could have been deeper and the plots could have been better written.
Perez, though, he definitely bought the A game. If you like his art, particularly his women, you really need to buy the trade.

More seriously though, Hawkgirl.

There are some great suggestions on here.
Let me get into the game.
DC team books are traditional my biggest sellers: JLA, JSA, Teen Titans, Outsiders and Secret Six. I'd even lump 52 into that category.
Solo books do well intially then fade. Solo books with creative teams changes are the same.
I'd like a Gail team book that features major players. We need an Outsiders or TT for the new millenia. It can be her creation completely.
After looking at his work on Trials of Shazam, I'd love to see Howard Porter. My other favorites are Amanda Conner, Phil Jimenez, Dale Eaglesham, Ed Benes and Nicola Scott.
There are some other great solo mentions here like Blue Beetle and Power Girl maybe in an All-Star something. I certainly would like to see Gail team with on of the local Dallas artists like Kristian or maybe Josh Boulet for something dark or vertigo-ish.
