Animated Cap

With the recent success of the Ultimate Avengers and the Invincible Iron Man animated DVDs, I'd love to see a new one spotlighting Cap. Or a more stylized, classic Captain America cartoon series. What would you like to see a new animated feature or series? What's the concept/style?

Which got me thinking of the various past animated versions we've seen. Which do you remember? Which is your favorite?

I think Ultimate Avengers has to win as far as the best animated Cap. If for no other reason than he's always been a guest star in his other cartoon appearances (Avengers United, Spider-Man, X-Men Evolution), and an incredibly weak one at that.

I think a WWII-era series could be fantastic, if done right. Show the creation of Cap as a response to the rise of super-powered beings in that time period (Namor, the Torch, all the Nazi suprvillains). Though to be honest, the chances of it being done right are incredibly slim.
