I have a couple questions about dropped plotlines, and I'll keep them recent since anything pre-Infinite Crisis will probably be answered with "retcon punch" or something silly like that.

1) Why did Superman's powers suddenly return in "Up, Up and Away"?

2) Are Superman's powers still causing electrical problems?

If either of these were already addressed in the books, feel free to fill me in. Or if you have any questions of your own, feel free to add them!

Superman's power loss, basically, turned out to be psychosomatic. He LIKED being Just Clark Kent for a while, so they didn't return until he realized he NEEDED them, when they kicked in full-strength.

I don't think the electricity thing has been explained away yet.

Was that actually explained the story? I don't remember... but either way, I think it's a pretty lame reason, especially considering the entire world has seen "Spider-Man 2".

I liked the story, and i enjoyed how it was handled.

The way he kind of gradually rationalised himself into super-powerhood again.

I thought it was well done.

1.) What Blake said. Of course, initially, the power loss was caused by him going through Krypton's sun at the end of IC, along with E2 Superman and Superboy Prime.

2.) Well, I'd assume that the answer is a yes. This hasn't been brought up again since the "Back In Action" storyarc.

I wish they'd resolve it, even if it's just with a single sentence. I don't like the idea of Superman being a danger to pacemakers and other important equipment and not getting that taken care of immediately.

It reminds me of the "Condition Critical" story years ago- Superman is sick and trying to ignore it. Finding out why he is sick and whether he is a danger to others should have been his immediate priority.

I see. I don't know, I think it's kinda cool. It gives him a more out-of-this-world feel.

Are those peacemakers electronic equipments? Because it's not that Superman causes electrical problems per se. According to Big Blue himself, he's "disrupting electronics".

Nope. The only things we've got come from Meltzer's JLA run.

Will we find out why Admiral Zod's ship crashed on Earth "68 years ago"? (From the first page of "Up, Up, and Away".) Maybe he's still on Earth, he could be the "third Kryptonian".

Yeah, two Zods on Earth at the same time would be kind of weird, but not much stranger than Doomsday and Zod's ship named Doomsday both being buried deep underground at the same time...
