STOLEN! (http://www.marvel.com/news/comicstories.869?utm_campaign=front+page+tracking&utm_source=main+graphic&utm_medium=big+graphic+link&utm_content=%2Fnews%2Fcomicstories.869)
Unbreakable symbol of freedom and heroism has disappeared. Details are sketchy at this time, but a S.H.I.E.L.D. spokesperson has revealed that Captain America's shield has gone missing.
Who or what could've stolen the symbol of truth, justice, and the American Way?(eat your heart out Supe!) My bet is on Mad-Dog. (http://www.marveldirectory.com/individuals/m/maddog.htm)

Punisher already has the mask. I would think he would need the shield as well.

By the way guys, unless you haven't guessed it's more of a publicity stunt than part of the story. They're appearantly going to present the Shield to Steven Colbert on tonight's Colbert report according to Newsarama.

I think it's obvious Tony has it. There's no way he'd let a weapon or a symbol that powerful in anyone else's hands. He probably just make it appear like it was stollen so he can keep the thing.

Its a pretty straightforward question...Who has the shield? we saw frank lovingly pick up caps mask :D at the end of civil war.
unless i missed something, i don't remember anyone picking up the shield and i wonder if that will figure into "search for a new cap" that stark will undertake?
I hope Josiah X has the shield and takes up the mantle :D

Stephen Colbert has the shield, now inject that super soldier serum into him, and we'll have a new and even better Captain America!

That's in the comic book. We're talking about the real Captain America's shield.
