Best Marvel Ultimate?

Are there any really good Marvel Ultimates? I have only read a few (Spiderman and a few others, I think) but I wasn't super impressed. Are there any out there that people really like?

Ultimates and Millar's first Ultimate X-Men arc hardly disappoint. At least imho.

The Ultimates are pretty good, some of Ultimate Spidey and Ultimate X-Men are good. The first arc of Ultimate Fantastic Four is pretty good too and so was the art.

I think that Ultimate Spiderrman has been consistently good to great; whereas the other titles have been hit or miss many times,even The Ultimates have put up a few whiffs(though generally is pretty good).

Nope, not until May.

Both USM and Ultimates are great books, UXM is hit and miss while UFF.. I don't read it so I couldn't tell ya.

I'm a big fan of The Ultimates and Ultimates 2. I've also really enjoyed almost all of Ultimate Spider-Man (that crap when he switched bodies with Wolverine was crazy awful). I really liked the beginning of Ultimate Fantastic Four, but I've since stopped reading it and Ultimate X-Men just seems really convoluted to me.

The First two Ultimate X-Men arcs are great, is ok through the second Magneto arc, but kinda loses me after that. Ultimate Spider-man up through Carnage was great, but the issues up to the clone saga were just kinda there. The clone saga seems to have it back on track, though, and 106 was really good giving me high hopes for it going forward. UFF was always just ok. Ultimates 1 was amazing, but Ultimates 2 has been a little off. The Trial of the Hulk was great, but the issues after that kinda stunk. The issue with the Ulitmate Defenders was particularly bad. Issue 12 was good, though, and it has me interested as to where #13 is going to go (if and when it comes out). Ultimate Galactus showed a lot of promise in the first book, but #s 2 and 3 were really bad. This has led me not to even try Ultimate Vision.

I thought the Ultimate DareDevil & Ultimate Elektra & DareDevil limiteds were so friggin' lush!

Now storywise I think Ultimate Spider-Man rules with the character development. But likewise so do the Ultimates series with development so it is really hard to choose.

The Ultimates 1 and 2 are some of the best reading ever. Great stuff and if you haven't read it already, you are really missing out!
