Bloody hell.
That's a " Please don't make eye contact, please don't make eye contact, please don't make eye contact " expression if I've ever seen one.

Reminds me of when MeMaw used to put Abba's teeth in and chase us thru the kitchen. . . .

While I can understand the allure of drugs to pump one full of energy and creativity, the fact that anyone would use heroin just makes me boggle.
He LOOKS like he's been doing heroin, anyway.

It's sad to see that he's just a pathetic looking has been these days. The man who brought us "Eruption" being subject to ridicule is just a musical tragedy.

Man... Eddie Van Halen looks like, well, Eddie (the Iron Maiden mascot).

Last I heard it wasn't heroin for Eddie, he's an old fashioned out of control alcoholic.

That pic of Eddie has been around for at least a year or so. I'm worried that he does not look better these days.

To be fair, he's also had a couple of bouts with cancer.

Whatever it is, I hope he can turn things around.

I honestly can not make fun of Eddie,as i can say his music has given me ALOT of joy in my life, and to this day i get excited hearing certain Van Halen songs(and i was a equal fan of BOTH era's)and wished they would reunite when everyone can do so. I did not live his life, have his problems, or deal with the situations which must of been extraordinary in his life, but i do wish him the best, and hope that he feels better, and when he can he can live a life that he can enjoy. In my personal opinion,he is entitled to some peace.
Best Wishes,Eddie.
Also, for those talking about his rehab,he has made a public statement, which i heard read over the radio yesterday. It was well thought out,in which he explained his choice not to appear at the rock and roll hall of fame award ceremony, and his apology to his fans for this choice. It was sincere, and very heartfelt, imho, and i think his health and well being are more important than being at a award show to please fans.
To be fair, he's also had a couple of bouts with cancer.
and he never lost his hair? O.o or, maybe it grew back?

I know a lady (friend of my mom's) who went through chemo and kept her hair. I think they know more about dosage these days. Also, not every cancer treatment requires chemo.

Oh Eddie...*sob*
It only makes me sad because VH was so a part of my childhood. Like most guys, my big brother wanted to be a musician when he grew up. Eddie was his idol. He had Eddie pics everywhere. Personally, I've read a few interviews, and I think Big E's a little bit full of himself. (I mean, I know he's awesome and all...but still.)
However, that doesn't take away my compulsive need to throw horns and bang my head like an idiot every time I hear Atomic Punk. I just...can't...help myself.
