Two Face fans out there...does anyone else like to take the 'eye of the beholder' storyline from batman annual no. 14 (can be picked up in the Batman featuring two face and the riddler tpb) as canon? or perhaps a mix of that and the long haloween. I know long haloween is meant to be canon, but I prefer eye of the beholder as a two face origin. Anyone else agree with me?

It is the true Two Face origin, IMO. TLH is NOT canon. It contains far too many contradictions with the main continuity, i.e. Flass' death, Selina and Bruce's relationship, etc. Plus, it was never meant to be canon in the first place.

"Eye of the Beholder" is maybe my favourite Two-Face story ever. It's probably why he's my favourite Bat-villain, come to think of it. "Eye of the Beholder" provided a lot more depth to the character than THE LONG HALLOWEEN ever did (though in retrospect, the abuse angle seems a bit cliche).
But I love Andy Helfer's writing, and Chris Sprouse's art was excellent, considering it was some of his earliest published work.

You're right. I knew there was something else I couldn't remember; that was it.
