active reload in gears of war

my sisters have kinda mastered it with the lancers only.i'm only good with the lever action shotty.has anybody figured this out yet???

If you can do it with one gun you can do it with all of them. Just hit the reload button a second time when the bar moves over gray or white part of the meter

Once you get the timing down, it's starts to become pretty automatic.
