This June, in “World War Hulk: X-Men” and “Iron Man” #19-20, Writer Christos Gage reveals how the Hulk’s vendetta impacts on the X-Men and Tony Stark. We spoke with Gage about both books and learned which veteran artist will be drawing his "Iron Man" issues.

Will be getting Iron Man anyway.
MAY get WWH: X-Men- If I do, it will most likely be the only tie-in I buy that wasn't already on my pull list.

Sounds like good stuff. And i think he explained well why the Hulk would go after Xavier, and it sure seems like it will be an hell of a fight:)

Let me say up front that I'm a huge Hulk fan and will be buying this anyway.
But I have to say that if people were concerned about Civil War being implausible, this event is probably going to top that. The Hulk slugging it out with Iron Man in one title, then hopping over to Westchester County to talk to Professor X in another? Plus a side trip to the Baxter Building to turn Reed into a piece of Laffy Taffy. I dunno, I think there's going to be some pretty significant suspension of disbelief going on here.
I would have been fine with another 2-3 years of stories on Planet Hulk, personally.

Gage rules.
I've bought everything he's done - except for that magic police procedural - and have yet to be disappointed.

Gage has quickly become one of my favorite writers. Anyone who has loved his Union Jack or Deadshot work, or anyone looking to sample his writing before he takes on these projects should check out Stormwatch: PHD over at Wildstorm/DC. It's easily one of the best team books on the market.

I really like Gage. I was going to get the X-Men/Hulk but I'll probably pick up the Iron Man now.

I expect to check both projects out. I'm really enjoying Gage's work.
For some reason, I thought Butch Guice was exclusive to DC.

I like how cage works on Stormwatch from Wildstorm but now doing these two projects is something to be excited about. WWH x-men I'm getting just for the thrill of hulk smashing mutants and would love to see him take on sabertooth (2 never fought as far as I know and want to see if he's truly better than logan at what he does :) )

I'll probably just be getting the X-Men Mini. Not a huge Hulk fan, but it sounds cool. They need to figure out a timeline for Astonishing though. Cool that it's just Beast and the New X-Men kids at home when Hulk comes calling in the first issue. Haven't seen Beast vs. Hulk since Incredible Hulk #161.
And I guess since Dum Dum Dugan is gonna be in the Iron Man issue, that Kid Wolverine didn't kill the real one after all. Life Model Decoy? Ah Marvel, why not give every character one of them. :p

Personally I think the problem with WWH tie-ins is the total lack of change. The fact that there's a writer swap in IM doesn't sound good to me- yes, Gage is a great writer, but if the Knaufs don't like what he does, they ignore it. Having tie-ins to civil war, you often knew it wouldn't change much but because CW rewrote the rules to such a degree, you might get lucky. But since WWH doesn't look to change very much at all in general, I'd say the tie-in impact will be virtually nil.
Still might get some good books out of it!

I agree. From the sound of things it seems WWH isnt going to effect much. Which doesnt make too much sense. Thats what I got out of reading a few interviews on the subject. Hopefully Im wrong.

Poor poor charles. The new x-men & beast will make the hulk angry and in no state to listen to the de-powered charles plea of innocence before popping his head from his body.

Given their history together, I would have thought that Wolverine would NOT fight the Hulk and try to side with him when he learns the truth of why the Hulk is on a rampage against the world.
Because like the Hulk, Wovie hates being use and would often try to get back at those who wrong him.

True, but wolvie also enjoys a good scrap....

Under different circumstances I think it's easier to see Logan sympathize with Hulks perspective than the Illuminaits.
But that said, if we're talking about Hulk endangering a school full of children then all that is thrown out the window. Logan will fight Hulk to protect the school and the students in it.

Well, at least I know I really don't have to purchase the Iron Man ish's now. And, Andrea DiVito doing art on the X-Men:WWH stories... why couldn't he have also just been the artist drawing the main WWH titles insteada Romita Jr...?

So does that mean the Iron Man creative team is changing? Damn, I was really enjoying the current team.

Did you read the article? It's a fill-in arc, to give the main creative team a break.
