It seems to me like a group of dedicated patriots that has been fighting since WWII would stand side-by-side with Mr. Red, White & Blue, Captain America. I know guys like Millar and Bendis are not the Marvel Encyclopedia type but it's weird to me that the V-Battalion were not involved in Civil War since they're basically a super-hero militia. It would be interesting if at this stage somebody use them, would show the implication of their existance post-CW and what they represent in the scheme of things with super-hero teams now spanning all the 50 States(A V-Batallion as a group of rebels without a home, a bunch of zealots trying to stand by Cap not matter what would be fun).
I don't beleive the V Battalion's base of operation is actually in the US, so the registration really shouldn't directly effect them. Though obviously if and when their operatives enter into the US, it's a potential issue.

all of the heroes of their time were basically expected to serve their country; especially war-time. i say they are pro-registration but anti-SHIELD.

Have they even appeared since the Human Torch was killed? Could be they disbanded as silently as they formed.
