Sean Chen will be pencelling the new Nova title and who will be in the 2nd Nova book??

That's right ladies and gentleman IRON MAN...and here is my interpertation of Sean Chen's Iron Man form issue #1 of Sean's stint on the title!!

Could also work for the end of Civil War now that I take a second glance :)

That's absolutely superb! Perhaps if you send me a hi-res jpeg/tiff file I could colour it for you? It would need to be of reasonable size to do it justice. If interested send it too novadaz3333@yahoo.co.uk
Oh and thanks for starting this thread. I'm planning to do a bit of art as a way of doing a lead up to Conquest but you got there first!

Okay have posted it before in another thread but looks like you all missed it so I'm reposting it. First bit of Nova art from me for 2007. Penciled traditionally then inked/coloured/special effects via Photoshop.

Awesome! The only thing I'd change would be the angle of Nova's right forearm. I think it would be better served facing towards the reader, coz it looks kinda bent the way it is. Good job on everything else though-- I particularly love the construction of the legs (legs are tought to draw!) and the colors are amazing! I also dig the composition with Nova bisecting the darkness on the left and the brightness on the right. :)

Thanks for that Mapa. That's the problem with drawing. You look at an image afterwards a few days/weeks later and you think. Shoud've done that this way instead of that. As it is I'm self-taught though I use photo-reference when required. Doing legs are a nightmare, especially feet and as for hands..oi vey! But you know when I did the background I didn't realize till now what i'd done. Perhaps I'm figuring out where Nova stands; maybe he's at the crossroads between staying on the side of the angels or as Quasar himself warned in Ann/Nova 3 that he could go down the dark path. With the power at his disposal and the events on the horizon affecting his mind and soul he could go either way.

Jpeg, etc to novadaz3333@yahoo.co.uk and I'll start doing them in-between things. Won't rush them as I'll do them one at a time per week as a lead during March, Early April. And please do a Nova! I'll do some Annihilation: Conquest art eventually! (Wraith looks like one I'd love drawing, plus I've been wanting to do Kl'rt/Praxagora for half-a-year now) Just that Spring classes start up this Thursday -doing three classes in one day, two of which are art-based-, so I dunno how much spare time I'll have between now and May to do stuff.

But dang, Butch, those are awesome! I like Mantis... she's pretty.

Oh yeah. Cooking is the defenite word. Just as soon as I get a few other matters out of my way during March-Early May then we'll see what Butch and I can do. But in the meantime.....
