Congrats, Lyman! He's incredibly cute. And it looks like his whole body can fit inside your head! Either he's really small or you have a giant noggin. I'm betting on a combo of the two.

Brings up an excellent question . . .will you teach the child the bass or do you want him to learn something more useful to you?
Congrats!

Congrats to the whole happy family.
All of this tempered by the fact that there's another Colts fan in the world.

No, he said "useful".
That would be useful, he can buy his dad all sorts of goodies if he grows up to be a mogul.

Congrats dude! Yay! :) Babies are the coolest...and they are completely cootie free. (it's around three years old that they start developing cooties to threaten other kids with)

I keep reading this title as Punchy's Dead. Although the thread would be just the opposite. It's just his spare time that's dead.

Thank you all very very much.
This has been a crazy week. Little guy was born Monday afternoon, ever since then I've been in a bit of a haze. I'll fall asleep, wake up, and won't be able to tell you if I've slept 20 min. or 5 hours. The sun will be out and I can't tell if its 8 AM or 3 PM. It's official, life as I know it has changed.
Baby boy is healthy and happy. The wifey is a bit sore but happy as well. She was really amazing during the delivery.
I can't even think if he's going to be a bassist or a drummer or whatever. At this point I'm just trying to figure out if his diaper is poopy or if he's just hungry.
Thanks again everyone. Proud pappa will post more pics soon.

Damn maybe I should pay more attention when I'm on these boards, I didn't even know the missus was expecting.
Anyway congrats on your son, as a new (kinda, Joseph's almost 7 months old) daddy I can still remember those first days. Matter of fact I'm sure the more experienced fathers on this board can remember. I can tell you this though you can forget getting a good night sleep for about two to three months though.
Once again congrats on little Punchy.
