Alright, I'm trying to reload the old-school CS (not source or whatever). Anyway, I have installed Steam, but when I click on it, it doesn't load.....you still need that to play, right? Also, when go into the game and try to find servers, nothing comes up. Any tips would be appreciated. I need to shoot someone in the face.......virtually, of course.

Go into Steam, right click on your old school CS icon and check to see if you have the latest version. If the status indicator says "downloading" or "updating", you haven't got the latest version of the game. You need to right click/"resume update" for it to work properly.

Another possibility is that your ports on your firewall are closed, preventing you from finding others online (I initially had this problem on XBox Live). Go to http://portforward.com/ and see what ports Steam and CS need to be open.

Old school CS isn't really worth playing these days. The only people sticking with the original CS are the hardcore, who exploit every bug/feature (AWP/Deagle reload combo anyone?) and the annoying 14 year old teenagers with cat-like reflexes and tempers as short as a Spartan sword.

CS Source is where it's at!

Hasn't the game always been like that? ;)
