After last weeks famine, we get another feast week. Fortunatly, thanks to the second half of my work bonus coming in, I have cash out the wazoo, which is much less painful than it sounds. Great week to be flush with cash.

Boom! Studios:
Warhammer 40k #2: The first issue was decent, if you're a fan of the game. Had some nice painted color. The story was a little hard to follow, but the art made up for it.

Dark Horse:
Criminal Macabre-Two Red Eyes #3(of 4)
Ghost in the Shell-Man/Machine Interface #5(of 8): Still buying the singles, but I think I'll wait till they all come out to read them.

DC/Vertigo/Wildstorm:
52, Week 42: Another week, one step closer to the end. Cover looks like its a big Dibny week. Always good
Checkmate #11: Another good one. I'll agree with Augie and say it's the best book that DC proper is putting out.
DMZ #16: I say DC proper, because the best book the whole company is putting out is a tie between Fables and DMZ. Can't wait for this one.
Ex Machina-Inside the Great Machine: Should be a good behind the scenes look at this great series. Not a new issue, so buyer beware.
Testament #15: After the awful art of last issue, this one's going to have to impress the hell out of me, or it may go on the chopping block.

Marvel:
Amazing Spiderman #538: Is this the last issue of the Civil War tie-in story? Can I go back to being blissfully unaware of whats going on in ASM? Kind of hope so. The story and art have not impressed me much.
Annihilation Book 1 HC: Now here's one I've been looking forward to. I decided at the start of the crossover just to wait for the trade, and now the waiting has paid off. I've heard nothing but good things, so I'm really looking forward to it.
Civil War #7(of 7): Well, here we are, do we get a House of M ending, or you know, an actual ending? I'll be dissapointed if we get a House of M ending, but not really suprised. As long as it's got some good fisticuffs, and a bit of explanation, I'll be happy.
Immortal Iron Fist #3: Meh, I've enjoyed the first two issues somewhat but I haven't been blown away, mostly because I not enjoying Aja's art that much. I'll give it a few more though and see if I enjoy it. Maybe it's just a casualty of reading too many books.
New Avengers: Illuminati #2(of 5): Now here we go, a monthly Marvel book I'm actually excited to read. Can't wait to see Cheung's Thanos, and an Illuminati throw down with him should be awesome.
Powers #23: Always a good week when a new Powers comes out. They seem to have gotten the book back on a regular schedule.
Punisher War Journal #4: Hopefully this issue breaks the book out of the Civil War tie-in and lets it get out on it's own. Also hopefully, they explain the last page of issue 3.

Oni:
Local #8(of 12): Finally, seems like I've been waiting forever for a new issue to come out. Great series, pick up the trade when it comes out, which by the look of it may not be till late this year, or early next.
Wasteland #7: Another great series. Joked around with the regular artist at my store a few weeks ago. Seems like a nice guy. Guest artist this week.

Previews XVII #3 just to see what's coming out. Oh is my bill going to be big tomorrow.
