DC Roundup Announcement on Flash & Superman (2-27-07)

DC Comics on Tuesday announced that Tony Daniel is the new regular penciller of The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive, joining writer Marc Guggenheim with #11.
Daniel's first issue is a story called "Full Throttle," the top Rogues are united by one voice to take down the Flash -- but who is it?
"I'm looking forward to working on The Flash with Marc Guggenheim, who I think is a very gifted and unique up-and-coming writer destined for big success," Daniel said. "I've always been a huge Bart Allen fan and The Flash is one of the most recognized DC icons. 'A' game, here I come!"
DC has added a variant cover The Flash #11 by Daniel, which will be published in a split of approximately 50/50 with the solicited cover by Ethan Van Sciver.
In other DC news, the publisher announced new content for Superman.
Superman #660, in stores on March 14, now will feature a story written by Kurt Busiek, with art by Mike Manley and Bret Blevins and a cover by James Fry and Rodney Ramos. This issue looks at The Prankster, who's popped in and out of Superman ever since "Up, Up and Away."
Superman #661, in stores on March 28, will now feature a story written by Busiek and Richard Howell, with art by Howell and Eduardo Barreto and a cover by Jesus Merino. In the story, an ancient and vicious curse set into motion by the Greek gods hits Metropolis, challenging Superman in a way hešs never been challenged before. Wonder Woman guest-stars.
Superman #662, in stores on April 11, now will feature the start of the 5-part second half of "Camelot Falls," previously slated to appear in issue #661. This issue is written by Busiek, with art and cover by Carlos Pacheco Merino.
Superman #663, in stores on May 9, now will feature now will feature chapter two of the 5-part second half of "Camelot Falls," in which the Young Gods of New Genesis pay a visit to Metropolis, while the Prankster is on the loose and the threat of Arion looms over the city.
