I got it! Just haven't had time to read it yet! Really looking forward to curling up with it this evening (before Survivor, and the return of William Petersen to CSI!).

Good issue, probably the best yet. It really deepened the mystery and left me wanting more.
Also,
I liked seeing some of the less obvious downsides of having super speed.
The Saturday morning cartoon ads were great. Now I really want to see The Authority as a kids cartoon.

I got it, and everything is really starting to heat up. I want it to come out more frequently! I also liked seeing the downside of superspeed, and showing more of the connections between the town's residents.

Scott, I wanted to ask you...have you ever considered writing comics? You have some unique qualifications, but beyond that, you have great story instincts.
Have you given it any thought?

I'm boycotting comics by Gail Simone after her shoddy treatment of great ORCA founder Rick Olney. He instigated comics in the classroom, you know.
Seriously, I'm looking forward to reading it this weekend.

Thanks, Gail. I appreciate the compliment.
I've certainly thought about it, but I wasn't sure of the best way to proceed.

Da Fug? Scott isn't a hollywood hack or a third-rate novellist.
How dare you try to bring intelligence to comics Gail?

I take offense at that! Intelligence is not necessarily absent from the denizens of Hollywood!
Oh, wait....... I'm a Hollywood FLUNKY, not a Hollywood Hack.
Carry on. ;)

Still loving Tranquility!
Female lava emotions for teh win!
Yay for super powered goths!
The Animated Authority! With a talking cat called Sherman! I can't decide whether that is a perfect moment that should never be elaborated on, or if I desperately want to watch that show. Perhaps both.

Definitely the best issue yet, Gail. I'm really enjoying seeing all the warts in the idyllic small town getting pulled to the surface -- it's like a bunch of mini-mysteries wrapped up in one big one. I love that sort of thing.
It was a good issue. Lot of funny bits like the cartoons and the superspeed sex. I hope Leona pulls through.
Did the scene between Leona and Mr. A happen on the same day as his death or was it before?
Please tell Googe to stop drawing those ellipses on everyone's noses. Makes everyone look like there're all wearing those adhesive strips you use to remove blackheads. Otherwise the art is great.

I GOT IT! I actually jumped a bit when it was there, and quickly added it to the items I was getting, rather then leaving it till next week. It's become one of my "READ IT NOW NOW NOW" Books.
This is the BEST superhero series I've read in ages, and I can't wait for more. The world building is fantastic, and I love how you've made Mr.Articulate into the "recurring flashback character". AND PINK BUNNY'S IN THIS ISSUE!
YAY!

I think it was before. If I remember correctly, his hair wasn't completely gray in the flashback. I can't check right now because I'm pimping the series out to friends and they haven't returned it quite yet.
I hope the trend of Mr. A flashbacks continues! He's my favorite character.

Another great issue. I love how this book doesn't have to choose between funny and serious, and can instead be very much both at the same time.

Very good. Nice to see the youth of this town and it's always fun to see a take on goth culture. The cartoon page was gold. Sure, it was mainly for showing how these kids used to be and how they're seen in the community, but the Authority thing was a nice bonus.
Though, yeah, that last page was heart breaking. Though it's kinda a touchy subject personally anyway.

I've said this on other forums, but I loved how you went from the older citizens of Tranquility in the last issue and focussed more on the youth in this issue. The Liberty Snots are quite the little buggers, from what we've seen of them.
The treatment of Cosmos, if that isn't the way small towns actually are, I don't know where I grew up. And the town is really starting to build up those skeletons in the closet, and I can't wait to see what'll happen next.
And the Authority cartoon advertisement was gold!

This title started out as being average with #1, but each issue since has gotten better and better. The art has started to grow on me, and these characters are quickly becoming, well CHARACTERS, and that's a hard thing to do in only 3 issues. I have to say, I havent been crazy about some of Gail's recent work, I dropped Gen 13 after 2 issues, I just dropped Birds of Prey, and I was really worried that she had hit a major slump, but this title is pure gold.

I did get the book last saturday, but i forgot to post what i felt.
Wow. Thou i liked the first two issues,THIS was the issue that made it all start to gell to me. And i totally agree with others about the Authority cartoon...that really made me laugh. I hope we get to see more information on the Liberty Snots as well, including the newer members.
Hooked on this one now. Great read.

I just read all three day before yesterday - thanks, SK!
Will be adding Tranquility to my pull list ASAP!
But I'm not happy about Mr. A's death, I was totally looking forward to hearing more from him.
Oh, well, he'll make for fabulous impetus for the other characters.
Keep going, Gail!

Regarding the Timelost Teens/Gen 13 - big, fat hint or fun, red herring?
Really enjoying this series.
