...so big that even Kurt Busiek couldn't lift it?

That depends on whether we are talking pre-Crisis or post-Crisis Busiek.

Don't be cruel, Simm'.

You know his back goes out more often than he does.

Gail

Do not doubt the mighty Busiek, we can only speak his name in hushed whispers as to avoid his omniscient gaze.

I fear it may be too late for us already.

I forgot about his powers.

Still, he's got a dicky back, so that counts in our favour.

As long as you're the one holding the ring when that gaze turns this way, I'll be fine.

Tread carefully. Pondering such mysteries courts destruction.

If he can it will surely be the story where he brings Chloe Sullivan into the superman universe.

mmmm chloe

I'm all in favor of making Chloe Sullivan a character in the DCU. She's a really good character, and it's not like they haven't taken elements from other media and inserted them into Superman's comic book reality before.

Yes. But he couldn't not do it.

Chloe is the best thing from smallville. Nay. Best thing from the superman mythos. She got me reading the comics. Thats no small feet.

Sure i read death of superman, but that was mostly because i liked to watch doomsday beat up all the JLAers

I wonder if Booster Gold has a fear of cars now?

Bring in Chloe and break up Lois and CLark

That's a story Busiek would have trouble lifting, i'd say

I never realized Busiek's gay. :D

What does him being happy have to do with his back going out on him occasionally ?

The real question is if someone were driving Kurt Busiek at the speed of light and turned on the headlights, would anything happen?

I think someone would star shooting stakes at you out of a rocket launcher. To think a writer could make a stake shooting rocket launcher believable.

Vehicular homicide.

It all depends on the will of the fluffy dice hanging off his rear view mirror.

And Kurt definitely seems like a fluffy dice sort of guy, doesn't he?

Oh, he's fluffy alright.

You know, I'm trying to remain relatively quiet, as to not wake up my one cat. And then you throw out lines like that.

Damn.

What's funny about Kurt's magical fluffy dice ?

He can ask the cops that when they pull him over for exceeding the speed limit.

AND driving without lights!

He doesn't need to drive with lights, Oz.

His fluffy dice glow.

Then he didn't need to turn on the lights while driving at light speed, DUH!

If his run on Avengers counts as one story, I wonder if he could lift all five Avengers Assemble hardcovers (when the fifth one comes out), the Avengers Forever trade, and the oversized JLA/Avengers book at once.

Gail

Well, sure he COULD, but then he'd just call Fabien in to help him out and that would be that.
