That word "should" is pretty loaded. Makes it sound like a requirement, and talent like Smith's ought to be allowed to go wherever he wants to take it.

But if he did a Hulk story, hells yeah, I'd pick it up.

Doesn't mean Smith couldn't do a good one. I don't think anyone is suggesting putting him on the regular book -- I don't think he'd be able to handle a monthly book -- but for a miniseries or special? Sure.

I'm not that big a Hulk fan, I should point out, I'm just a huge Jeff Smith fan.

If it's a one-shot or mini then sure. Pak deserves to stay on this title after reinvigorating interest in the series. Jeff Smith seems better suited for other characters, but as mentioned upthread what Mr. Smith wants Mr. Smith should get.
