Probably 50% of my customers today were women - including a 40-ish school teacher whose first exposure to contemporary comics was via the Scholastic editions of Bone.

And less likely to shag Kate Winslet.

I wholeheartedly appreciate the admiration. One more adjective and it would have been creepy. Your hair is...masculine and powerful. Yes i'm the one witht the Spawn/cape/medusa hair. Quite retro.

Closed on Tuesdays huh? My free period at the end of the day and your closed. But its ok!! Hey do we know when CW TPB's r coming out?

PS like my comic book slang?

You see this? That's commitment to customer service right there folks. If this man doesn't know he will find out for his customers. It brings a tear to the eye of someone who, like me, has spent years looking for a fulfilling comics store.

It's all right here, folks!

Well, you are the only one who gets to sit in the chair.

There is a Danish (perhaps?) girl called Sasha that comes in and hangs around a bit too.

There are a few others that are semi-regular.

Incognita
02-13-2007, 05:29 AM
hmm...Would you be able to give me the details of these so called "regulars..."? I may pay them a visit...Have a cup of "tea"...Nah lol, I'll just have to try harder to be the coolest comic box girl!
You should get some music in your store...You have a media player on your computer right? I suggest bringing in some cd's and spiffing up the place..Then you can drown out the lolly shop people and any random screaming children...

Ok that last part sounded incredibly suss!

Possibly long walks on the beach and Pina Colada's

Incognita

HA! well I don't like long walks on the beach...If I want exercise, I go do kung fu(it's hardkore...none of that beach walk crap!) or I run up and down the stairs in my house until I fall over or pass out...
And I'm not fussy, I'll get drunk on mostly anything! and I like beer...
Plus I'm not Danish...I think I get points for that.

just a few ideas...And if you feel like it, maybe a yacht...:D

I wouldn't say smashed at all. At the time I didn't notice anything, but looking back I suppose you could have been tipsy. Nothing more than that though.
