sort of just a quick bit of praise...
not really being a DC fan, i was entirely impressed thusfar...
there're alot of characters to sort of get used to right off the bat, but for the amount of plotlines they're running all at once and seemingly heading towards some kind of usage of kingdom come (which i did pick up back at the time and loved it immensly) i think i may have to stick around with this book...

Yeah, there's a lot to absorb at once, but if you can keep up it's very rewarding.

It's amazing that Geoff Johns can keep this the quality of JSA so high considering how long he's been writing it.

That is probably the one thing that is easier with a large cast of characters. So many stories to tell, so many different combinations and permutations to go through.

My dealer under-ordered it, too. It sold out, I hope there'll be a second printing.

JSA nad JLA are looking very good so far have to say I'm newer to the DC universe so I don't have the same knowledge as Marvel with all the characters so having them in groups is helping. Isn't there supposed to be a JSA/JLA crossover comming this year someone in the comic shop said something about it but im not too sure

After a quick sellout at DC Comics, JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA #2 is going back to press for a second printing.
Written by Geoff Johns and illustrated by Dale Eaglesham & Art Thibert, the JUSTICE SOCIETY OF AMERICA #2 Second Printing (DEC068126) is scheduled to arrive in stores on February 21. This new printing will feature a pencils-only version of the variant cover art by Eaglesham.
"The overwhelming response from the fans has only added to our own tremendous excitement at being part of this great project, " says Eaglesham. " We're creating a new JSA movement. We're committed to building something huge and unique, and it's gratifying to see that the fans love it as much as we do."
To ensure delivery on February 21, retailers must place orders by Sunday, February 11; please note that quantities will be limited and may sell out before February 11.

Forbidden Planet UK under-ordered it in general so anyone in UK that is having issues finding it this is most likely why. hoping for a second printing cause i like to have whole sets of runs or story arcs.

Always happy to help a newcomer. In a nutshell: Alan Scott (the golden age Green Lantern) doesn't fit into the Corps. Eventually they retconned a connection into his backstory, though... namely that the ring and "magic lantern" from which he derives his powers were carved from a meteor that (A) contained the Starheart, a magical artifact created and banished by the Guardians of the Universe, and (b) merged with the artifacts of a dying Green Lantern thousands of years ago. However, Alan never knew any of this until he'd been a hero for decades, and finally met Hal Jordan and other GLs who were official members of the Corps. Accordingly, unlike Hal and all the others, he is in no way accountable to the Guardians.
Hope that helps...
