I've been reading Civil War for the past few months and I noticed one thing. A lot of focus on Spider-Man. Don't get me wrong I am a big Spidey fan and I understand he is the most popular but it just gets annoying after a while. What do you think?

He's Marvel's most popular character by far.
The fact that two guys like Cap and Iron Man- who, while great in their own ways, are not remotely in the same league as Spidey when it comes to fans or readers- or sales for that matter- have bigger parts than him continues to amaze me.

I think maybe the reason ther is so much focus on Spidey is that he has the most to lose of all. Most heroes even acknowledge this.

Where were you in the 90s, when he had, what, 5 monthly books, spinoffs, gues appearances, minis, etc?

You should thank the Comic Gods that a huge marvel crossover does not include Wolverine...
Spidey rules and Civil War is his story !!!
Its also about the breaking of the FF
The argue between C America and Iron Man
And of course Speedball and Thunderbolts
In fact its about every marvel character...

imo in the main book of CW they don't focus too much on Spidey. Also Cap and Iron Man play big parts. Okay in his regular books its him of course.
Personally don't think it's too much. Okay i'm a big spidey fan :D

I do agree with this on some terms, but other heroes do have things to lose in a similar sense as Spidey. I don't think its to much focused on spidey though. He isn't really in the main CW book I mean they kept him mainly in his own books and the only big book was the unmasking.

No really...other than his identity revelation where was the focus on spidey in the main book , knowing that he used to be second in command of the leader of the Pro-Regs?

what u think too mutch spidey the guy like all other posters says he has mutch more to lose, for god sakes he has a family and I mean family! there are like no marvel chracters (correct me if Iam indeed wrong) that have a family and have as mutch as he does to lose. Oh and welcome to the boards!

I think that he wasn't in the main book all that much. I think that without question Cap and Iron Man were the main characters in the main book.
