Whatever happened to Mr. Bones??

He had a role in the Luthor administration but to my knowledge hasn't popped up since then. He was one of my favorite characters from Infinity Inc. Anybody gonna bring him back? Maybe as an outsider?

He's been a major character in Manhunter. With that book ending, he's likely to have some degree of involvement in BOP, at least as long as Kate is in that book. Otherwise, he would be a likely candidate to also be involved with Checkmate.

I'd like to know what happens to his buddies in Helix. And how he went from being a fugitive at the end of Infinity Incorporated to being head of DEO. And why he doesn't talk in rhymes anymore.

I read this issue of Infinity Inc where Mr Bones got his leg bitten off by a shark, so I would have thought that was the end of him. But, in comics, nothing is forever, not even death.

If I never read about Helix again it'll be too soon. There was a lame supervillain group if ever I saw one.

(By the way, Tao Jones of Helix was mentioned in the recent JLA #2.)

As for the rhyming, well... I guess he just grew up. Even in his first appearances in Infinity, Inc, he only talked like that as an affectation.

Bones had an artificial leg for a long time after the shark bit his leg. I liked the evil baby from Helix... Kinda creepy. Bones is also AFrican American, the black Dr. Mid-nite, who has apparently been retconned out of existence, found this out while tending to his wounds after Grundy's assault.

What makes you say she's been ret-conned? She was killed by Eclipso.

I know he showed up as Director Bones in the pre-IC Power Girl story arc of JSA: Secret Files. I don't know if he's shown up since, though.
