Anyone else reading Tales of the Unexpected?

I'm reading it through a friend, but not buying it. I'm really bored by the Spectre stories, so I can't justify four bucks for half a book.

But the Dr. 13 stories are amazing! I hope they are collected so everyone can sit back and see some gorgeous Cliff Chiang artwork and some of the craziest writing from Brian Azzarello.

Still, nice to see they show their love for the PSV Eindhoven with their costumes.

I haven't been reading Tales of the Unexpected. But after seeing those three pages of the Dr. Thirteen story, I'm going to buy all the back issues. It looks like a really fun story.

Love Maxine's costume! But it seems kind of soon to be sending Maxine into battle. She has zero experience and it's not like their short handed...

I haven't been buying it either, but for Infectious Lass alone it'd be worth it. Metacommentary on the nature of comics is just the icing on the cake.

Batman's gonna be a text piece? Ummm...Morrison, this is a COMIC book, ok? It may be brill, but I wanna see comics, ok?

Why are Amazons attacking the USA??? WHY??? And will any of them make out with Officer Montoya or Batwoman? ;)

Oh, and I positively HATE Spectre having a beard!
