Okay, so I was surfing through the DC Database Project, and I came across some faces that were new, but after reading their powers or potiental powers realized. "OMG! Thats awesome!"

So I thought it would be call if people posted about characters who are kind of new or inexperienced to the Superhero/Villain scene, but due to the nature of their abilities could be potientally great if done correctly.

Okay for example, the one person who caught my attention right away was none other than Black Alice. The name alone was catchy, and the image below was kind of neat. http://images.wikia.com/marvel_dc/images/f/f3/Black_alice.jpg(I like the urban look.) Got to me continue to read the characters bio.

When I got to her powers, I was bombarded with tons of ideas on what she could potientally do in battle. She struck me right away as one of the next greatest potiental heroes (in terms of power anyway.) in the DC Universe. All she has to do is practically study and major in all forms of mythology (I mean from all cultures not just the popular greek or roman mythologies.) and she could rock just about everyone in a fight. I mean, the only limitation I can think of is if she doesnt study, or doesnt have a high degree on imagination/ingeniuty.

If you don't know what her power is, then quiet simply, "Black Alice is able to channel the powers any mystical hero of her choosing." That's it in a nut shell. Oh man, did I have some fantasties when I read that.

Karate Kid: I am Karate Kid, im from the future, I am the master of every known martial art in the future. I train incredibly hard everyday and I am practically superhuman because of it.

Black Alice: Awesome, I wonder how'd you fair against the original Kung Fu Genius!

BAM! Alice channels all the abilities of Sun Wu-Kung, thus gaining Super-Human strength (able to lift press 6,750 kilograms and possible even more.), Immortality, Shapechanging, Super-long jump abilities, and the ability to see evilness. Of course all manners of beat downs commense. :) Did I mention she'd grow a sexy monkey tail. AWESOME!!!!

I'm pretty sure "magic hero" implies existing superheroes who use magic, like Zatanna or Captain Marvel. Either way, she's definitely one of my favorite new characters.

That would be (though not to say your wrong.) kind of boring, I wouldnt want someone just mimicing Dr Fate or Zantanna or any Spellcaster period. Someone who utilized mythology to evoke the powers of mythical heroes in the form or magic or other supernatural abilities would be far more interesting. If what you say is true though, then that just leaves me with a idea of a more interesting character thats all. :)

I think I remember reading another artical to which she was included. it was about a one time deal where she and a bunch of other supergirls, team up to rescue Superman? It had her, the girl who claimed to be Superman's daughter from a potiental future, a black girl who had super human strength and flight abilites and i think one other. I don't remember what her abilities or how she used her powers then, but considering what the others could do i would assume it was in a near similar capacity.

wait i looked for that article again, it was mistaken it was some other people. :)

Didn't she end up killing some people in her original Birds of Prey introductory arc? Shouldn't she be facing criminal charges for that?

No, no, that was Girl 13, Tracy Thirteen, supposedly the daughter of Terry Thirteen (or Dr. 13). Black Alice first showed up about two years ago in Birds of Prey.

No, I don't remember her killing anybody. She was going to kill some drug dealers, but Dinah stopped her.
