I see a tiny bit of Gerald Scarfe and Ralph Steadman influence. It would be cool if that came through more in whatever creature/horror images come up.

I see Gerald Scarfe and Ralph Steadman influences.

What's interesting to me about Jason's art is his ability to "morph" his style depending on the story, which makes what we'll see in the Abe mini somewhat unpredictable (in a good way). The style he used for The Escapist is different than what we're seeing here in Secret, so who knows what we'll see in the Abe series. Especially if they're going for a Goya thing.

Wow... Alll this time when everyone were talking about how they like the fact that this guy is going to be on board the abe sapien mini I was sure he was the one drawing the MINDINGHT nation, not the DAMNED one. These are some great preview pages! And the fact that he'll try to do a "Goya thing" for Abe- splendid!

I guess that Mike must realy appreciate the works of great Goya. (I can imagine why as he was truly a master of art and his works were one of the milestones). First the "Gods of war" piece from the "Art of HB" and now this...
