Hi gang,

This week's column:

* Special mystery review I can't talk about just yet. It'll be going up AFTER the column is posted on Tuesday. More details as soon as I know what I'm allowed to say.

* Review of ZAPT!, a new Amerimanga from TokyoPop, co-written by Keith Giffen. It's a great kids comic.

* Review of SEVEN SONS, the 2006 original graphic novel from AiT/PlanetLar.

* Five Years Ago in Pipeline history.

Look, Ma! No PREVIEWS!

Time to start the guessing:
Mighty Avengers #1?
New Avengers #27?
Civil War #7?
CW: The Initiative One-shot?
Omega Flight #1?
Spider-Man Back in Black related books?
Dwayne McDuffie new FF?
Ultimates 2 #13?
Ultimates 3 #1?
Joss Whedon on Runaways?

Have I just about named everything from Marvel that I am most looking forward (except for Ultimates which I just threw in there for kicks) to over the course of the next couple of months?

Trip

I can neither confirm nor deny anything on your list there. =)

I can say, though, that the review will run on Thursday, February 1.

And if this week's column looks a little short, it's because I saved time and room for that review to be added in later.

Oh, can I guess? Is it:

Annihilation #6
Daredevil #93
Ultimate Civil War Spider-Ham Crisis
Dark Tower #1

I'd put money on the first two. Although Ultimates #13 would be nice, just so we know that it is coming out.

The review will be up at midnight. Somebody guessed the book correctly already. =)

I'm going to say that I think goman guessed it correctly with Dark Tower #1.

I don't know what made me guess that either, I was sticking with books released this week. Good review, by the way. I was pretty much planning to wait for the trade already, but you pretty much sealed it. I've read a few King books in the past, but the only exposure to the Dark Tower series was reading the first few chapters of the first book and then dropping it in favor of something else. Something about it didn't hold my interest. I'll buy anything with Jae Lee art though.
