Loose ties in Nip/Tuck that i would like cleared up

i just finished watching seasons one through three on DVD and have a lot of questions about things that havnt been cleared up.
1. whatever happened to Mat's friend Herold who hit the girl Cara and raped her in the first season
2. on the season premeir of the second season there is a gunshot woman with a gay friend who we find out were planning to shoot each other because they were lonely. at the end of the episode she pulls the gun on her gay friend saying she wont let him grow old and we hear a gunshot. did she shoot her friend or did she shoot herself? this was never brought up since.
3. Marcus Grayson, seans old teacher who was doing illegal sex change operations. what happened to him? theres been plenty of sex change topics in the past few seasons and we know he is still up and running(the ending of episode 4)
4. what about Ava? her adopted son is dead at her doorstep and last we saw she dissappeared.
5. ever since finding out that Kit was the carver's partner in crime its been bugging me on why she would jump on Christian to claim he is the carver and peg him for the crimes when she knows its not him and being the carvers sister she should know he would take it personally. could it be that she was trying to protect him?
6. same as above why accuse Liz? my brothers theory is that she just wanted her out of the building so that she could give the carver time to carve up sean and christian.
7. What happened to Cherry Peck? last we saw she/he got his 'happy place' cut off by mat and the family of skin heads
8. not so much about the storyline but how many people work at McNamora/Troy? its seems like a big place but iv only seen 3 or 4 employees.

Does it really need to be brought up again? I think it's pretty obvious she shot him, and what's done is done. We don't need to see the chick arrested and convicted. It's not like it was gonna be the beginning of a killing spree.

He's still doing the operations. What else do you need to know?

It's called misdirection. Same reason Quentin was set up as a victim of the Carver as well.

Does it really need to be brought up again? I think it's pretty obvious she shot him, and what's done is done. We don't need to see the chick arrested and convicted. It's not like it was gonna be the beginning of a killing spree.

1. yeah but its been four years. you would think that mat would have shown at least some concern or remorse for being part of the crime.
2. i just think its weird that they never mentioned it or even clarified if she killed him or herself. she seemed to be full of self hate that it could go either way
3. sean threatened to shut him down and send him to jail if he ever found out he was still doing the operations. hes still doing them so i would like to see sean follow through
4. it would still be nice to see some sort of follow up after she left the show

The woman from question #2 shot and killed her gay friend. After the shooting, Liz was seen discussing the investigation/trial with the doctors. She expressed disgust over the way the woman would probably have an "insanity" defense for the murder.

Well yes, it was supposed to be convincing. She was involved, so naturally she'd do everything she could to send the cops down false trails. She was in on it from the beginning, so we know she's a good actress.

As for Cherry Peck, she may turn up again in Season 5 but given the events at the end of season 4 I find that unlikely. Some of the aftermath of that episode was revealed in season 4. What she did after that still remains unaddressed though.

Interestingly, you didn't even bring up two other loose threads that came back in a major way in season 4.

Well yes, it was supposed to be convincing. She was involved, so naturally she'd do everything she could to send the cops down false trails. She was in on it from the beginning, so we know she's a good actress.

As for Cherry Peck, she may turn up again in Season 5 but given the events at the end of season 4 I find that unlikely. Some of the aftermath of that episode was revealed in season 4. What she did after that still remains unaddressed though.

when did cherry peck apear in season 4? and what two loose threads? do you mean escabar and bobolit? and i dont remember liz ever talking to the athorities after the shooting, im pretty sure they closed the episode off with the gun shot noise. ill rewatch i guess

A lot of these characters just go on with thier lives after meeting the doctors. I don't think we need any updates unless they are recurring characters.

I think its one of the best shows on TV. Best stuff was the Carver plot line. And really Dylan Walsh- he IS/HAS become McNamara. Any other roles he plays, I'll look at him as the guy who was on NIPTUCK

are you kidding? i freakin love the show. i practically follow it as a religion.

i first saw it last year and only saw bits and peices of some episodes from the third season. my first episode i ever saw was the one with the gorilla. when the fourth season started i had ever episode recorded on my DVR and was able to watch the whole season. after finishing the fourth season i decided to rent season one. practically watched it all in one shot. then i got season 2 and 3 for christmas and spent about 7 hours a day watching it

He's in prison, and not doing well.

As neither has had plastic surgery, they're both dead.

Didn't they only succeed in running him off, not shutting him down?

I may not have seen this season yet.

There are 2 surgeons, and anesthesiologist, probably a few nurses, a receptionist, and some office assistants. It wouldn't take a huge staff to run that place, at least based upon some of the medical offices I've been in.
