Jason Alexander Signing Today (Jan 27, Sat.) In LA

Sorry for the late notice, but I just noticed the sign myself last night. Abe Sapien artist Jason Alexander will be signing copies of Conan and the Midnight God (for which he did the covers) along with writer Joshua Dysart at Golden Apple on Melrose (new location, if you haven't been there in a while, just East of LaBrea on the south side of the street). For any Conan fans, The Midnight God is off to the best start of any of DH's Conan minis yet. An AMAZING first issue. But of course the real reason I'll be at the signing? Hoping Jason might sketch a certain fish-man... Hope some of you can make it too. I'll probably be catching the tail end.

Speaking of Jason Alexander and a certain fish-man, Mike mentioned at Cactus Con over the weekend that he and Jason discussed doing a Goya type thing with the artwork for the Abe mini. I have no idea what that will translate to on the finished page, but the very idea of that gets me somewhat excited and only adds to the anticipation. As if I needed further reason to anticipate the mini. *scoffs*
