101 Mignola Hellboy Head sketches

Some of Cheeks' partial images will probably disappoint; there are a couple of images that even I can't tell what they represent. But looking at them as a whole, I think they're outstanding. I love the way he draws the vampire heads and some of the close ups really capture a moment from the film - like blood dripping from koto strings. Outstanding.

Mike's sketches are repetitious when seen altogether but if you opened up a Hellboy packing, hoping to get a piece of art, any of those would delight you.

Greg Guler was the lead character designer on the movies. Neat seeing his drawings finished in brush. And that baby Hellboy is so just so durn cute!

The three Mignola HB cards facing the other way are gonna be worth a million dollars! :D

So many of the other artists' cards are quite hit and miss. I wish I had done some! :(

If you stare at them long enough, the horn stumps become eyes and the ridge brow becomes a mouth and the nose becomes a chin and you get a weird stumpy frog monster.:p

Now that all of them are up, I have to say I'm really impressed. Some are touch-n-go and leave to be desired, but most are nice. I'm ready to collect these.
