As of episode 14/15, I think it's about time Code Geass got its own thread here :p
For the new folks, Code Geass is kind of like a cross between Gundam Seed and Death Note, with some V for Vendetta and Eureka 7 tossed in. And Pizza Hut. And fanservice. (Did I get everything?)
Here's the Wikipedia blurb (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_Geass):
On August 10th, 2010, a.t.b., the Holy Britannia Empire overpowered Japanese forces and conquered the country with their robotic weapons, the Knightmare Frames. Japan lost its freedom and rights and was renamed to Area 11, under the complete control of the Britannia Empire. The Japanese people, stripped of their identity and now referred to as "Elevens", are now forced to survive in ghettos, while Britannians live in first-class settlements. Yet rebel elements exist, as pockets of Japanese nationalists continue the fight for their independence.
A young boy named Lelouch made a pledge to destroy the Britannia Empire after his father, the King of Britannia did nothing to pursue the terrorists who murdered his mother and crippled his sister. Seven years later, he stumbles upon a group of rebel Elevens who have stolen a military secret. With the weapon of Geass that he obtains from the secret, he finally has the tool he needs to face the Britannian empire and take his revenge. The mecha are pretty small (~5 m) and land-based, which I find refreshing. You have more terrain/obstacles to play tactics with.
I like this piece of fanart:

Spoileriffic discussion follows...
So, episode 14.
Did Lelouch wipe all of Shirley's memories of him? I'm hearing that his excuse for the resulting obvious discrepancy in ep.15 is "We broke up, and she's acting like she doesn't know me." That's... really weak :/ He seriously couldn't think of a better idea?
The thought of having one's memory selectively but cleanly erased like that is pretty scary, and sad :( But that reminds me, I wonder if a new volume of Tsubasa is out...
