Best Day EVER!!!okay...until Sat.Moved heaven and earth to get out of work early.left downtown @5:15 to try and make to the signing by 7.made it ther by 6:30 .Hardly anyone was there.I don't know what the signing was like @5.DVDplanet was giving away the hellboy Qee keychains and animated poster w/purchase(The prices were great as always $11.98 for SOS and $8.98 for ASOH) Mike was there looking very relaxed just taking it easy and talking with everyone. He's the best ,as always. I talked with him a bit (didn't want to seem too geeky...too late;) He signed everything and more for me The SOS dvd and cover, ASOH dvd,The qee keychain,my animated jounal with a hellboy sketch and a Rasputan sketch in my Mignola sketchbook. Thanks to dvdplanet for a great event and a BIG "THANK YOU" to Mike Mignola for being the coolest, most generous ,nicest individuals around.http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p217/gdeo/panpixs027.jpg

argggg i missed it. :evilangry
but i am glad dvd planet hosted such event!
Mike's favorite kind of signing is when people wander up and chat and are polite. Worst: Disneyland type lineups with winding lines. It's worth seeking out the smaller events.

At the next con, take photos of everyone in line and then have life-sized cardboard standees made of them and line them up throughout your house. Then Mike will be relaxed and you'll be creeped out, especially at night in the dark. :)

I don't mean like" relaxed","falling alseep relaxed" .I'm sure the crowds and sea of humanity that is San Diego can make anyone tense....i'm a spectator at the SDDC and i get tense sometimes at all the people.
