I could listen to the gentleman talk shop as they say all day long. There's a truly touching point in the interview when he speaks of his father's kidnapping that he talks about writing and how it basically saves his life, keeps him going.

It hit home for me because I feel the same way. While I consider myself blessed with what I have in life, the doldrums do hit me, professionally-speaking especially as of late. And it's writing my tales and drawing my doodles with hopes of, quote/unquote, maybe making it one day that help me keep my wits about, even on those bad days where I hate everything I do. It's the love of creating something.

Well, enough about me: Go listen to that interview. The man is just awesome...
