I'm with you...It always baffles me to see how much of a fan favourite he is...those flat fingers make me weep! Can't BELIEVE he is pencilling World War Hulk!! And he ruined Wolverine Enemy Of The State too...

It's an American thing I think. I think Lobdell uses it quite a bit. "sexy as all get out" etc. Aka. very sexy.

It's a common phrase here in the U.S. I don't know its origin and, thus, can't tell you what it's supposed to mean. But these days it just sort of translates to, "It hurts a lot."

Actually, I said a closer translation would be "It hurts like a sonofabitch!", it's just an old fashioned way to say it without cursing.

Same. I mean, I really liked him in Mystiques series, and he was ok recently in New X-Men, but he doesn't interest me enough for him to be a main cast member in a monthly title...

I thought JRJR's original run on Uncanny X-Men was spectacular. But his second run was just awful.
