"by God, now I know what it feels like to be God!"
I hope they all read the book or watched the movie before they start doing this sort of thing.

Wow...
What's even more amazing is that I'm not totally shocked. I feel sorry for the puppy part though.

Its sick. don't play god people, it wil only end in tragedy.
PERFECT in stories like Mary Shelley's s FRANKENSTEIN though, which I LOVE by the way.

Very interesting article. Not sure why this information hasn't been more widely disseminated since all of these experiments took place nearly a half century ago, but maybe I just wasn't in the right place at the right time.

Fascinating right? I immediately thought of you guys when I read this because it reminded me of a lot of the bizarre stuff that Miggy puts into his stories. One of the creepiest images for me is this:
"One key experiment Dr White carried out in 1964 involved removing the brain - though not the head - from one dog and sewing it under the neck skin of another dog."
Is this not one of the more darkly hilarious things you've ever heard? That brain must have been all kinds of confused! I know it's horrible to find this stuff amusing, but...:
"It was quickly joined by the larger 'natural' head of the mastiff, which gave its new addition a puzzled look and tried to shake it off." AND "The host-dog was bored by all this but soon became reconciled to the unaccountable puppy that had sprouted out of its neck.":D
The theme from the Odd Couple just starts playing in my head. Can't help it.
