Heroes and 24 do battle in most US markets tonight at 9pm. With your rear firmly in chair, which one gets your eyeball time!

Thanks to the modern marvel of DVR, it's not really an either/or decision (and since they rerun the Heroes eps on SciFi on Fridays, I probably won't be wathcing either of them "live").

I haven't watched 24 for the past couple of seasons, but I saw the season opener and think I might give it another shot. The bloom is starting to come off the rose for me on Heroes, but I'll give it a bit more rope before I cut it loose.

Gonna watch 24, which I know I'll enjoy more.

And TAPE (that's right, I still do that) Heroes for a later viewing.

Heroes gets my time cause Ive never watched 24. But Heroes is starting to get boring. The plot and supposed big answers go no where.

Heroes for me. Never was all that into 24, but that's probably because I've never given it the time of day to grab my interest. I'll probably watch a rerun some time soon.

Watch 24 live, record Heroes for later.

Besides you can watch Heroes on the net or Sci-Fi later on in the week.

I think I've seen a whole 15 minutes of 24, total.

I couldn't get into it, but I'd not seen the first episode. Eventually, I'm going to check out the box sets - but not today.

When I originally saw the pilot for Heroes it didn't grab me at all. I liked it better the second time around and the show has grown on me, but I still like 24 a lot better.

I like Studio 60 a lot better too, so that works out pretty well.

24 gets watched live, with Heroes taped and watched later that night.

Yes, taped.

On a VCR.

24 is my second favorite show of all time. That being said, I'll be watching Heroes first, then watch 24 on DVR. I feel like I'm cheating.

I watched 24, mostly because I watched the lead in of Prison Break, and because Heroes is a lot easier to watch online.

I watch 24 on Monday nights, because a LOT of people at work want to talk about it. I DVR Heroes and watch it at my leisure.

24 live and Heros on DVR

Jack Bauer demands to be watched at the scheduled time. I am sure he checks the Nielson ratings.

Heroes won the first matchup 14.83 to 14.4.

Heroes won the first matchup 14.83 to 14.4.

But Heros is on NBC and 24 is on FOX. If I where 24 I would call that a win given the small margin and NBC being a bigger and more watched network.

Heh, I do the same thing, right down to the VCR usage. I tape Heroes to watch at my leisure later since I like it better, and then watch 24 live. If the point of this thread is having to choose one or the other, then I'd go with Heroes. But I don't have to make that choice, so I watch them both.

I watch 24 live and TiVo HEROES for later in the week.

Looks like this is going to be a tight race!

In a tight race at 9 p.m., CBS led in households (9.3/13) with "Two and a Half Men," 10.1/14, and "Old Christine," 8.4/12. FOX's "24" was second at 8.6/12, followed by NBC's "Heroes" at 8.5/12. NBC however, had the most viewers (and also the night's top adults 18-49 rating), with CBS second and FOX third. "Supernanny" delivered a 6.0/9 for ABC. The CW went with "Girlfriends" and "The Game."

I don't know what any of those numbers mean.

Can't they average them out or something to make them easily comparable??
