Welcome to X-Crescence, which is from the word excrescence, which is defined as "An outgrowth or enlargement, especially an abnormal one, such as a wart."

Well, this is an outgrowth from the X-Boards proper.

This is where you pretty much can post whatever you want.

Almost anything goes here.

You can have arguments here, you can talk nonsense here, you can insult each other, you can use profanity, you can talk about any topic that you would like.

A major exception, however, is while you can get into arguments with each other, even to the point of insulting each other, what I won't allow is sniping about people NOT in this thread. If you want to argue with someone, fine, but argue WITH them, not complain ABOUT them to others. This thread is not the place to say, "Wow, Poster X sure is lame, isn't s/he?" Use IMs or PMs for that stuff. This does not mean you can't say stuff like, "Man, a certain poster is really irritating me today" or "There are a lot of threads that are annoying me" or "X-Board/Comm Board/Whatever Board is really driving me nuts today." Just don't get specific with your insults.

Other than that exception (and it really isn't all THAT major, really), you'd have to do something pretty damn bad before I ever even got involved moderating this thread. And generally speaking, "pretty damn bad" would involve perhaps a long drawn out, profanity-laced argument between posters.

So, basically, it is yours to do with as you please, so, well, enjoy.

Cyclops, without powers, used only his fighting skills to beat most the then X-men in a fight because he got angry at Wolverine, they on the other hand, they didn't know so were using powers. (he did it as a test so they would pick up their spirits after a defeat, it worked (he's a great guy)).

I can't stay long because I have another orientation meeting to go to, but I made it. I'm now living in a castle in Well, Netherlands! I freaking love my school. The Netherlands is beautiful- everything is so incredibly green, and the air feels wonderful.

I can't wait to go traveling on the weekends. Me and my friends are planning on going into Amsterdam this weekend, which should be exciting since its notorious for sex, drugs, and alcohol. My 3 favorite things! (Besides the X-Men of course).

Going to Tampa for a friend's wedding. The biggest problem is I'm trying to find tickets for 3 people, but one person is going a day after the other two. But we want to be on the same flight back, and not be flying at like 5AM.

Yeah, the Saints have been historically shitty, however, in the NFL, there are a number of teams that have never been to the Suepr Bowl, which is actuallty quite surprising, as you'd think just simple odds would go against that.

The Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, Cleveland Browns, New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans all have never played in the Super Bowl.

The Saints, though, are unusual in HOW quickly they rebuilt, as they were really bad last year, but through one big free agent signing (their quarterback) and a couple big college players (and a mediocre conference of competition), and they turned it around.

I always use two. Perhaps formal writing and short stories have made almost reflexive.

Message boards, due to the coding, automatically convert multiple spaces to just one space.
