Couldn't find another thread about this show so my apologies if one was already started.
It's a really cute show. Kind of predictable, but I'm enjoying it. I love Patrick's character. He cracks me up.

It was on Friday but they moved it to Thursday after Grey's Anatomy now.

I first caught this show a few episodes in, when it was still on Fridays. I had heard literally nothing about it before that, but really enjoyed it. I tracked down the episodes I had missed and have been watching ever since.
As you say, it's a cute show and I'm a bit of a sucker for romantic comedies.
As far as shows set in Alaska goes it's got nothing on Northern Exposure, but I'm enjoying it.
I like that they got the whole, "Will they or won't they?" question with Jack and Marin out of the way fairly quickly. Now the question isn't when will they wind up in bed together, but when will they wind up together period, a more realistic reflection I think of modern attitudes regarding sex and relationships.

Yeah, I kind of liked that angle too. Jack and Marin were both on the rebound when they met so now we can see how long it takes for Jack to realize he's truely fallen for Marin and is over Lynn. Justine Bateman is still looking cute these days though.

Once Lynn is out of the picture there's no doubt they'll keep finding obstacles th throw in front their relationship. (Assuming the show lasts that long. When the show disappeared from the schedule for a while last year I was certain it had been canceled. I'm not sure what the ratings are now, especially going up against ER. It's not the show it once was, but stil . . .)
Will they or won't they is just such a television cliché and in this day and age such an artificial marker of some sort of significant change in a relationship that I'm really glad they've taken that out of the equation.

I just heard that Anne "Call Me Crazy" Heche has dumped her husband, for her "Men in Trees" co-star. It's a guy.

Yeah, I heard that too. This happens so much in Hollywood. Actors and actresses dumping their spouses for a co-star.

I dig Justine Bateman.
