Create the Marvel Universe!

Imagine you have been put in charge to guide, or help guide, four titles for a year, shaping the characters and tone within. Now imagine that these four titles are The Fantastic Four, The Amazing Spider-Man, The X-Men, and The Avengers. You can create based on if the Marvel universe rebooted now or if you were given the assignment in the sixties. Either way, here are the parameters:

You must include in The Fantastic Four:
8 individual villains (two of them appearing three times), an alien race, a custom origin, and one adventure revolving around a guest star.

You must include in The Amazing Spider-Man:
10 individual villains (two appearing twice), and one group.

You must include in The X-Men:
7 individual villains, a recurring Brotherhood of Evil Mutants (five members, six for one story), one Savage Land adventure, and a guest star

You must include in The Avengers:
5 individual villains, one race (species), one unifying problem, one founder must leave, one hero must join, a recurring team of Masters of Evil (with one adventure having a turncoat), and one adventure that happens, but is erased

You can do something as small as doing one part (such as defining the X-Men) or providing commentary (such as, "I've always thought Kraven the Hunter should have been one of Spider-Man's first villains"). Or, you can do the whole thing, if you feel brave enough.

Either way, here's my input:

Peter Parker: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Ok, I always thought he'd be the perfect spy. Danger sense, strength and agility, gravity defying movement and speed, and most importantly a journalistic eye/intuition. Not to mention his everyman looks. The only things holding him back were his naive guilt and his motormouth.

But what if it wasn't Aunt May who picked up the pieces when Ben died? What if by a quirk of fate, Steve Rogers or even Nick Fury became his surrogate father, and nutured him into doing good by doing right? Hence Peter Parker: Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Recurring Villain: Dr Doom.
I know, big ask, but Dr. Doom is S.H.I.E.L.D.s worst nightmare, a super villian in charge of a county. He's the head honcho, and in a twist to normal Superhero dynamics, Spiderman isn't tough enough to go it head to head with Doom. He has to be cunning, he has to be brave and he has to play it smart.

Other villans:
Magneto (national threat)
Namor (again, class over USA interests, but ultimatly a sympathetic foe)
Red Skull (I kind of see Parker as almost the shadow Captain America)

now stay with me on this one:

The X Men. Now, Parker would see a lot of himself in these. Teenagers, outsiders, often wrapped in their own past traumas....but at the same time a school of lefty-hippy crap beings with enough power to level Washington will scare the crap out of S.H.I.E.L.D. so Parker has to infiltrate, and ultimatly choose the right option...

I realise SHIELD was post 60's, but hell, I wanted to use this idea so crew everyone.

Fantastic Four

Origin:

Reed is the smartest archaeologist in the world and gets hired by NASA to do space exploration after signs of an ancient society are found on the moon. Ben Grimm would be an astronaut that Reed met while working there and would assist on the flight team. Along with them would be Sue who specializes as a botanist, and Johnny is a genius also goes with them. Reason Sue and Johnny are allowed is Sue's father is a billionaire that donated money on the space project. Whille in space Reed and company discover what looks to be a ray gun of sorts. Johnny the happy go lucky genius
accidentally activates the ray gun which shoots the group with a bright beam of light. The flash of light is seen by a group of badoon soldiers that are flying in the area. Seeing the bodies on the ground the badoon aliens take Reed and company into their vessel. Reed and crew wake up in a cell and each begins to show they have new super powers. Reed gets rubbery, Sue goes invisible, Johnny gets hot, and Ben starts to get rocky. The badoon view this and they take Reed's body from the brig to have it disected to see what is happening to him. Before he is removed from the cell he touches Sue's hand and then passes out. The badoon strap an unconscious Reed into a machine to be scan while in the cell Sue also begins to develop stretching powers. Make a long story short Thing busts out of the cell and it turns out that each one is capable of passing their ability onto another member of the group, but in the transfer the person that passes on their power goes in a comatose state. Also when The four both touch their hands together they can physically merge into a being called the Fantastic that has all of their abilities similar to that of a Super Skrull and all their minds become one. Kind of like a Wonder Twins Captain Planet ring vibe thing going on.

First issue: Into the Fantastic The Origin

2 The Fist of Doom-

Doom had a space satellite in the area that took pictures of what went down with the Badoon ship blowing up and seeing Reed and company. So he sends his minion droids out to get them. The F.F. are still in quarantine trying to figure out what happened and how the powers work.

3 The Price of Power-

Doom has found that he is attracted to Sues beauty while the rest are shackled and tortured. Eventually Sue persuades Ben to concentrate and he sends his powers into her and passes out. Sue releases the others and the group escape, but are perplexed why Ben went into a coma.

4 Kristof the Conqueror-

Doom uses what energy he absorbed from the four and imbues it into one of his loyal subjects. Kristof realizes that he can also sense their location by their energy signature. Kristof gets the power of flight and super strength from the experiment and carries around a giant axe and he attacks the four.

5 Birth of the Fantastic-

Severely beaten the four find themselves huddled together in hiding and as they all touch each other a blinding light appears and their bodies combine into the being known as the Fantastic for the first time and wipes the floor with Kristof. The Fantastic confused as to what is going on flies into space to the moon where it all began.

6 Memories-

The Fantastic feels this part of the moon familiar and wonders why he has all these different memories. The fantastic see's Sue's memories going to the prom, Ben winning the Superbowl, Johnny winning a Nobel Peace Prize, and Reed's adventures in Egypt. Also some how another memory pops up of some type of interstellar war. The Fantastic thinks he is going mad when he sees a Watcher and asks him who he is. The Watcher says nothing the Fantastic throws a few boulders at him to get a response and mad flies away from the moon.

7 The Fall of the Fantastic-

Reed and Crew find themselves passed out naked in the middle of a cornfield where the surroundings look like they were burned. They all start wondering what could have happened because they seem to have shared in each others memories also and are also wondering about the new memories of them traveling in space. They would return to the base they first formed the Fantastic at and would be shown film of the transformation. Doc Samson would be called in and the group would realize that they can pass their powers to each other, and that this creature they can merge into becomes a mix of their personalities.

8 The Attack of the Kree

Turns out the Fantastic blew up some Kree space ships and they have been looking for him ever since. So the Kree come to earth threatening to destroy it if the Fantastic does not show. The Fantastic Four battle Ronan the accuser in space. Eventually they win, but to make sure Ronan never returns to earth the create a holographic image of the Fantastic getting shot by a Kree laser and blowing up.

9 Tech terror

A giant robot is let loose on the world. The FF also have setup an underwater base where they start training on how to use their powers better. Eventually after going to a somewhat stalemate Johnny concocts a computer virus into the giant robot and it goes kerplunk.

10 Haterade

Race riots start breaking out everywhere and the FF is able to surmise it has to do with this new special cola that hit the market. The cola is later to be revealed to have been created by the Hate Monger to make everyone hate each other. During the final battle with the Hate Monger he tries to use his abilities to make the FF fight each other, but he fails when Reed advises everyone to pass on their powers to him. So they pass all their powers and go into comas and Reed battles and defeats the Hate Monger alone.

11. Plants are not a girls best friend

Sue is in her green house in the underwater base where she has been cross breeding plants. One plant in particular begins to grow out of control. While this is happening read is studying drawings in symbols found where the ray gun that gave the ff powers was. The F.F. fight the plant creature. Sue deduces that the way to defeat the creature whose roots continue to invade the crevices of the base is to expose it to salt water so the dome on the green house is cracked and water comes flushing down upon the man eating plant. Johnny invented a scanner which shows the bodies of the FF are still giving off high amount of energy radiation from when they were shot with the beam and that caused the plant to mutate. Epilogue in the far reaches of space a planet awakens. Summoned apparently by a signal given out when the ray that gave the FF powers was shot. This planet has 2 eyes and a big mouth and is called Ego the planet buster and starts heading for earth.

12. Viva Las Vegas

Ben persuades the group to go on a vacation of sorts to the magical city of Las Vegas. Plans are made ahead of time by the government so the FF can partake of the gambling festivities without all the hoots and screaming at the Thing. Ben gets tired of not being able to go into public so he escapes the govt chaperones and finds himself in a small club. The club has a somewhat seedy clientel but everyone appears to be minding their own business. Behind the stage there is a a performer by the name of the Crooner who is a lounge singer that recognizes Ben from the news shows. The Crooner has a special ability that when he sings he puts everyone into a hypnotic trance and wants the Thing for his slave. So Ben is mind controlled and the Crooner sends him to start robbing banks and gambling casinos. The other members of the F.F. catch up to Ben and try to capture him. They fight eventually the Crooner is confronted and when he tries to control the other members turns out they are equipped with ear plugs and the FF catch the Crooner by surprise and turn his powers back on him while playing a tape of his own voice.
