Hi, I haven't been back to the forum for a while, but going through the various postings I notice that none refer to some recent Mignola production. Since all of Hellboy-related projects have now been passed on to ther artists and that he's stated last year that The Island would probably be his last graphic novel due to the amount of work involved, I was just wondering whether he's actually retiring from comics and just doing one-off illustrations from now on: any idea, anyone?

Have you been looking Tofer? If you have the time read a few threads, and check out some art work, and network with some fellow Hellboarders; maybe post an off topic thought. As for Mike...I think 2007 has a lot in store for us. Go over to the Dark Horse web site, and peep the short but strong list of titles we have to look forward to this spring. Before that the Hellboy Animated DVD hits stores. Then there's all the HB 2 movie preproduction news. Oh and Mike will be at some sweet conventions this year, hopefully at a city near you. If your into VS cards, there's some Hellboy themed ones coming out to, and the Hellboy Paperback Companion should be a sweet read. And that is just the stuff I can remember off the top of my screwed on head. As far as Mike sitting down in his basement loving writing, inking, and self publishing a cool new Hellboy story....well those days are gone. But take solace in knowing that Mike always has a spoon in the stew, we just have a few more restaurants to choose from. As a side note Tofer; I took the time to write this because these threads usually go a little nasty when someone asks..."Whats up with Mike Mignola?" Have a good one Tofer, and welcome back to the forum!

Thanks for your reply, Bandit! Just to clarify: I didn't ask this in an acusatory way, having been a fan of Mike for almost twenty years (!) , I was simply wondering wether there would be more MM comics coming our way...
