Don't know if this has been posted yet or not, but it's the cover for the 2nd Hellboy Animated comic!

I am confused by the last statement...
"The second Hellboy Animated DVD Blood and Iron is set to release in May 2007 and will include a custom Hellboy comic from Dark Horse and features a cover from Goon creator, Eric Powell!"
So Eric is doing ANOTHER cover for the minicomic included with the DVD?
Jeff Matsuda and Eric Powell each did two covers, one for the digest and one for the comics that are included in the DVD case. All contain pin ups by Mike Mignola.

Of the two, I prefer Jeff Matsuda's cover. It seems, for lack of better word, cleaner. I'll still most definately purchase Eric Powell's cover volume, though. Story-wise, it sounds more interesting than the first. On topic of the comics that come with the DVDs, do we have any images of Powell's one for Blood and Iron? Any title, Tad?
I leave all comic announcements to Dark Horse. They really did a great job of putting the package together.

Very nice Powell cover! He's tailored his style well to the animated format.

No image yet, but I'll see if I can get one up (along with the title) before too long...
Matsuda's covers are colored line art, which is why they match the animated style more closely than Powell's (which is painted). Personally, I dig the variation.
