I don't really like the art so I didn't pick it up.

I enjoyed issue #1, and I really liked the art. The best Iron-Man art since Kevin Hopgood was the artist.

I sort of passed on it when I realized it wasn't Civil War related. I'm getting so much Iron Man as it is, I didn't want to confuse myself.

But it's definately a Tradepaper back I'll check out down the line when I'm in less of a Civil War mindset.

I liked the first issue well enough, but it's one of those series that requires you to push any questions about where it fits in continuity out of your mind.

Capekillers trying to kill Tony, and now Fury in charge of SHIELD? Headache inducing.

But we dont know what will happen to Tony post-CW, this could be a hint regarding his future.

For the continuity inclined, it's been stated that this series takes place prior to Civil War, and even prior to the Extremis arc from Ellis' run on Iron Man.

Anywho, I picked up the first issue and enjoyed it muchly. Definitely looking forward to the second issue. Dug the hell out of the artwork, very nice. Thought it was a bit techno-babble heavy, but aside from that.. yeah, dug it.

the weird asian-like eyes of the armor makes it look awkward.

I read the first one and loved it. Adam Warren is a genius. I hate waiting between his projects. And it's great that Marvel has given him such an established chraracter to go crazy with. Cause I do think it will get wild. The art is okay. It looked a lot better in the book then it did in the preview. I wish it was penciled by Warren. That would be awesome. I can't wait for the next one. As far as continunity I really don't think it's that big a stretch to put Iron Man outside the civil war. You do know that there was a Iron Man before the Civil War, right? I don't think that's an Adam Warren cover, though.

Adam Warren should write and draw every comic book.

For the continuity inclined, it's been stated that this series takes place prior to Civil War, and even prior to the Extremis arc from Ellis' run on Iron Man.That does make the most sense. I guess the only niggle is the existence of the 'Capekiller' unit, which we've been led to believe didn't exist (with that designation, anyway) pior to Civil War. Works well enough for me.
