They usually don't have discounts until the books are officially announced.
And I wouldn't order from Amazon if I were you anyway.
Overstock.Com or Wal-Mart.Com are usually cheaper in the long run. :D

Damn, that is a nice collection. Is Planet Hulk any good though? Amazon.com will probly have this book for less than 25 bucks when it's ready to ship. I don't want pay less than Amazon prices. I feel that there is some kind of bad karma for paying less than wholesale on a new book. When Mile High comics offers trades and hardcovers for 40% off they say they are actually losing money.

I've never really been interested in the Hulk, his cousin has always caught my eye more, for some reason. But this, I am really intrigued about - I can definately see myself picking this up when it's released.

Same thing I was about to ask too.
Though I own all the issues up to now, I'd get this book as well, on saving myself the trouble of having to take the issues out of thier plastics and enjoying a whole read in just my hands :)

There is a character in Hulk #100 who finds out what happened to the Hulk and he appeared in Amazing Fantasy. I was waiting for Marvel to do individual graphic novels of each part before doing a hardcover. I am going to get this because I missed the first four issues and the Giant Size Hulk.

Glad to see they're not spacing this out over 2 or 3 trades. One nice fat collection was what I was hoping for.

I already own all the Planet Hulk issues, so where does that put me? :( , I guess the only reason i'd buy it is for the "Mastermind Excello" back issue.

The Gladiator Handbook addition was a must IMO, I was actually shocked to hear it wasn't originally included in the HC solicit. There were just tons and tons of cool background tidbits in there. :)

Shame they're cutting the other stories from the Giant Size Hulk #1 out though.
Though I guess the other stories arn't really relevent to the "Planet Hulk" story.
The one really ties more into WWH. And the other is just a reprint of Hulk: The End.

Exactly. The Champions' story might have been nice though (if not really relevant) because it's not likely to ever see reprint again like "The End" would.

I too only read the first few issues of PH to build up my appetite in anticipation for this. I love reading back to back...suspense is a killer =(
I wish this was out before WWH started. The prologue is out on May 9th according to Marvel.com Maybe it will recap the Planet Hulk story?
