I've only seen the first ten or so episodes. It's pretty good, I like the art and all that, but the story is so contrived and stereotypical. Not to mention the first ten episodes are hella slow, so I don't know if it picks up later on?

Don't let the stereotypical characters put you off. The story is absolutely good! Right mix of comedy and drama. (Though it does have a lot of corny jokes)

The characters will start to be developed as the series continues. Besides, its one of the cutest anime serries out there! Hehe!

I will admit, I do like this show. What mainly got my attention is that it tends to parodies some of the cliche of anime; from Yuri being transported to the alternate world the first time while getting a swirly in a bathroom, and how he constantly defies any romantic involvement in what is practically a yaoi fangirl's heaven.

That's part of its charm.

I never did understand why I liked the series at first. The plot is overused, the characters are stereotypical. However as you go along the series, you notice that somehow, there is something that makes it click.

Even now, I'm not so sure what that is. All I know is that, it turned out to be a good serires despite the plot and some of the characters.

PS: Some minor characters eventually show up again and somehow became important to the plot. Suprising sometimes. You usually don't expect to be suprised with this kind of anime.
